Linear Pro Access GSLG-A Series - Slide Gate Opener 230V Three Phase 1 HP 2200 lbs 78ft Max Gate Length Industrial Slide Gate Operator
The Linear Pro Access GSLG-A-123 is part of the GSLG-A Series of industrial and commercial slide gate operators. This series is built for heavier vehicular slide gate openings that need a rugged operator with an integral APeX Controller, direct motor-to-gear-reducer drive, #50 roller chain, C-face brake, emergency manual disconnect, adjustable limit system, and a powder-coated cabinet. The GSLG-A-123 configuration is specifically tied to 1 HP 230V three phase service, so it should be selected by the electrical requirements of the site and the operator nameplate, not by the cabinet appearance alone.
In practical field use, a GSLG-A operator is normally found at commercial yards, industrial properties, factories, loading areas, restricted access vehicle entrances, and other slide gate locations where a residential slide operator is not appropriate. Correct selection depends on the full gate system: gate weight, gate length, roller condition, track condition, chain alignment, duty cycle, available voltage, phase, safety device layout, vehicle detection, and access control wiring. The same GSLG-A family includes several horsepower and voltage combinations, and they are not automatic substitutes for one another. When replacing an existing unit, match the full model number, voltage, phase, horsepower, and current site requirements before ordering.

Technician Note
Do not select a GSLG-A operator by horsepower alone. The voltage and phase suffix in the model number is critical. A qualified gate technician or electrician should verify site power, disconnect, circuit protection, operator grounding, safety inputs, and control wiring before installation.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the exact model number: GSLG-A-123
- Verify horsepower, voltage, and phase against the site power and old nameplate
- Confirm gate weight, gate length, roller condition, and track condition
- Review whether the installation requires post mount or optional pad mount hardware
- Confirm monitored photo eyes, safety edges, loops, warning signs, and access controls required for the gate layout
- Check local code, UL325/ASTM safety requirements, and any facility specifications
Professional Advisory
This is high-voltage commercial gate equipment. Installation, service, and diagnosis should be handled by qualified gate and electrical professionals. Do not bypass monitored safety devices, emergency stop controls, or required entrapment protection.
Product Q&A
What voltage and phase is the GSLG-A-123?
The GSLG-A-123 configuration is listed as 1 HP, 230 VAC, Three Phase. Match this to the site power and the existing operator nameplate before ordering or replacing an operator.
Can I replace another GSLG-A model with the GSLG-A-123?
Only if the horsepower, voltage, phase, gate size, control layout, and installation requirements match. GSLG-A model numbers are not interchangeable just because the cabinets look similar.
What type of gate is this operator for?
The GSLG-A Series is for commercial and industrial slide gate applications, not swing gates or garage doors. The gate must be properly built, supported, and rolling freely before an operator is installed.
Does this operator include the required safety devices?
Do not assume all required monitored safety devices are included. Photo eyes, safety edges, loops, warning signs, and access controls must be selected for the specific gate layout and current code requirements.
Why does the model number matter so much on GSLG-A operators?
The suffix identifies horsepower, voltage, and phase. Ordering the wrong suffix can create a serious power mismatch and may damage equipment or create an unsafe installation.
