The Miller Edge P-75H is a hard rubber plug with a connector hole for 3/4 in. ID RAH-750 gum rubber hose. It is used where the air hose needs to connect to an Air-Wave or pneumatic switch through a small barbed fitting. In the field, this is the plug to check when a 3/4 in. air hose assembly has a loose connector, air leak, broken elbow, or poor switch response. It should be selected by hose size and plug style, not by appearance alone, because similar Miller Edge plugs are used for smaller hose sizes.
Use the P-75H only where the hose connection needs a hole for the air fitting. If the original assembly used a solid P-75 plug at that location, switching to a holed plug can create an air leak.
Do not operate a commercial door or automated gate with an air-activated edge that does not respond properly. If the edge is part of an entrapment protection system, a qualified technician should check the switch, hose, plugs, and operator input.
The hole allows a compatible air fitting, commonly the 218-27-18 barbed elbow connector, to connect the 3/4 in. hose to the switch side of the system.
Yes. P-75H is the holed plug style used with RAH-750 3/4 in. ID gum rubber hose.
No. P-50H is used with smaller RAH-375 or RAH-500 hose. P-75H is for 3/4 in. ID hose.
Order P-75 for a solid hose end and P-75H where the hose needs a connector hole for the air-line fitting.
Inspect the hose end, connector, and switch tube for cracking or air leaks before putting the edge system back in service.
