MOTION SENSOR WITH EXPLOSION-PROOF / FLAME-PROOF HOUSING
BEA’s FALCON EX combines a microwave activation sensor with an explosion-proof / flame-proof housing, which is ideal for use in unique environments such as chemical manufacturing, petroleum refining and agriculture.
The FALCON EX can be mounted from 11 ½ feet to 23 feet to fit any industrial application. For lower mounting heights, BEA’s FALCON EX XL can be mounted from 6 ½ feet to 11 ½ feet. The FALCON EX WIDE is available for wide
detection fields, with a mounting height range of 11 ½ feet to 21 feet.
The explosion-proof / flame-proof housing is a NEMA 4X, water-proof rated enclosure designed as an IP66 housing. This housing achieves UL Class I, Div. 1, Groups B, C, D; Class II, Div. 1 & 2, Groups E, F, G; and Class III*.
