This one is a spare,, since I have been through three in the last 7 years. Not sure why they fail,,, maybe lightning. The replacements always work and last for maybe two years. Happy with the product other than the longevity. This last time I found a suspicious white wire that looked like it was pinched. Replaced the harness and we will see if it makes a difference,,, probably will since I have a spare now. I have a dual opener gate and the failures are always on the master. The slave is the original,,, 7 years old.

Very easy to replace the board. Gate Openers Unlimited is a great company to do business with. They have the best prices, fast shipping, and they keep you informed of the status. I would definitely do business with them again.

Nice and easy to remove old one and replace with new circuit board. $20 part plus $10 shipping out to California is worth every penny, before you buy and replace the whole gate arm for over $250.

Ordered the part based on recommendation from GTO Tech. Part arrived quickly. Didn't fix the problem. GTO then recommended sending the gate opener to them for repair. Bought a new opener through Amazon.
