The LiftMaster 41A5273-1 wall control panel is a 2-wire Security+ multi-function wall control for select residential garage door openers. It provides inside-garage operation and console functions such as light and lock control on compatible systems.
This wall panel is commonly associated with select LiftMaster openers manufactured after 1997. Current LiftMaster references list compatibility with models including 3240, 3265, and 3280 when shown in the opener parts information.
This control is often confused with older green learn button consoles and newer Security+ 2.0 wall controls. The opener learn button generation is one of the fastest ways to avoid the wrong panel.
If the opener does not respond from either the wall control or remote, the problem may not be the wall panel. Test the low-voltage control circuit safely and avoid high-voltage opener repairs unless qualified.
