The SECO-LARM SK-1323-BPQ ENFORCER is a black, weatherproof stand-alone digital access keypad with a built-in 125kHz proximity reader. It is designed for gates, pedestrian doors, commercial entrances, parking applications, and other access-control systems that require local code or proximity credential management without a separate basic keypad controller.
The SK-1323-BPQ combines keypad access, proximity credential reading, two programmable Form C relay outputs, two request-to-exit inputs, a door sensor input, EEPROM memory, and optical tamper protection in an IP65 aluminum housing.
The SK-1323-BPQ includes a 125kHz proximity reader with a published sensing distance of approximately 2 in (50 mm). Compatible proximity credentials are presented directly in front of the keypad for access.
SECO-LARM lists PR-K1K1-AQ proximity key fobs and PR-K1S1-A proximity cards as accessories for this keypad family. Do not assume that unrelated 125kHz credentials will work solely because they use the same nominal frequency. Confirm credential format and compatibility before ordering cards or fobs.
Output 1 on the SK-1323-BPQ can be configured for three access modes:
The card-plus-code option provides two credential steps for applications where a proximity credential by itself is not sufficient. Each Output 1 user can be programmed with a code, a card, or both depending on the selected access mode.
Output 2 users may be assigned a user code or a user card. Output 2 can also be configured for doorbell operation instead of normal user access operation.
SECO-LARM specifies support for up to 1,010 user codes. User codes are programmable from 2 to 6 digits, and the selected code length applies to the keypad's programmed user codes.
EEPROM memory protects programmed information during a loss of operating power.

The SK-1323-BPQ provides two Form C relay outputs with Normally Open, Normally Closed, and Common contacts. Each relay is rated at 1A at 30VDC.
Both outputs can be programmed for a 1-99 second activation period or toggle operation. The relay rating must be checked against the connected equipment. Do not assume the keypad can directly power every electric strike, magnetic lock, gate accessory, or other electrical load.
For an automatic gate, the keypad relay can commonly be used as a dry-contact access command connected to the gate operator's designated access-control input. Verify whether the operator requires a momentary N.O. contact, N.C. contact, or another interface before wiring.
The SK-1323-BPQ is not a replacement for the gate operator control board and should not be used to bypass monitored safety or entrapment-protection inputs.
Two normally-open egress inputs allow compatible request-to-exit devices to trigger Output 1 or Output 2 without entering a code or presenting a proximity credential.
Examples may include compatible exit buttons or other dry-contact request-to-exit devices. Confirm the required contact type before connection.
The keypad includes a normally-closed door sensor input for door-status and anti-tailgating functions. When configured with an appropriate door contact, the keypad can use door status as part of its relay-control operation.
This input is an access-control function and is not a substitute for monitored gate entrapment protection.
An optical tamper sensor is located on the rear of the keypad. When the tamper feature is enabled, exposure of the sensor can activate the keypad's tamper alarm if the unit is removed from its mounting surface.
If an incorrect user code is entered or an invalid proximity card is presented five consecutive times, the keypad enters a one-minute lockout. Additional keypad activity or card presentations during the lockout can extend the lockout period.

The housings and many access-control specifications are similar, but the models are not functionally identical. Order the BPQ version when proximity card or key-fob access is required.
Verify the exact suffix and housing finish when replacing an existing keypad.
SECO-LARM identifies the following proximity credentials as accessories for this keypad family:
These accessories are sold separately. Proximity cards or fobs are not listed in the current keypad manual's included parts list.
The current SECO-LARM manual lists the following parts with the keypad:
A separate power supply, proximity cards, proximity key fobs, electric lock, gate operator, request-to-exit device, door contact, and access-control enclosure should not be assumed included.
The SK-1323-BPQ is rated IP65 and uses epoxy-sealed components in an aluminum housing. Proper installation is still required to maintain weather resistance. SECO-LARM instructs installers to use a suitable weather-resistant mounting arrangement and properly seal the mounting area and fasteners against moisture intrusion.
The SK-1323 series can also be mounted using the provided mounting base or appropriate single-gang mounting points where suitable for the installation.
For gate operator installations, use the keypad relay as the proper access-control command whenever the operator provides a designated dry-contact input. Do not attempt to power a gate operator or high-current accessory directly from the keypad relay.
For electric locking hardware, verify the lock voltage, current, fail-safe or fail-secure configuration, and required transient suppression. SECO-LARM supplies diodes and MOVs for applicable lock installations; follow the current wiring instructions for the specific load.
SECO-LARM instructs installers using the keypad with a mechanically operated door or gate to mount the keypad at least 5 ft away from the moving door or gate so a user operating the keypad is not positioned in the moving system's path.
The SK-1323-BPQ is an access-control device. It does not replace required monitored photo eyes, safety edges, emergency access equipment, fire-access provisions, door reversal systems, or gate operator entrapment-protection circuits. Never bypass required safety devices to make a keypad installation operate.
The SK-1323-BPQ has a built-in 125kHz proximity reader. SECO-LARM lists PR-K1K1-AQ proximity key fobs and PR-K1S1-A proximity cards as accessories. Confirm credential compatibility before ordering additional cards or fobs.
Yes. Output 1 can be programmed for card only, card or code, or card and code access. The card-and-code mode requires both credentials for the programmed user.
The SK-1323-BPQ includes a built-in 125kHz proximity reader. The SK-1323-BDQ is the similar black stand-alone digital keypad without the proximity reader.
The SK-1323-BPQ operates from 12 to 24 VAC or VDC. Verify the available accessory power supply and current capacity before installation.
The keypad has two Form C relay outputs with Normally Open, Normally Closed, and Common contacts. Each relay is rated 1A at 30VDC and can be programmed for a 1-99 second timed output or toggle operation.
Check the programmed Output 1 access mode, verify the card or code is assigned to the correct user, confirm the keypad is not in wrong-code lockout, verify the relay N.O./N.C./COM wiring, and confirm the gate operator input is configured for the relay command being used.
The current SECO-LARM manual does not list proximity cards or key fobs in the included parts. It lists the keypad, manual, mounting hardware, security screw, star wrench, mounting template, two diodes, and two MOVs. Proximity credentials should be ordered separately as needed.
No. The SK-1323-BPQ is an access-control keypad and proximity reader. Required monitored photo eyes, safety edges, and other gate entrapment-protection devices must remain properly installed and operational.
