HySecurity MX000579, BEARING, SPHERICAL PLANE, SA
HySecurity MX000579 is a spherical plain bearing identified with the SA / StrongArm style naming in the uploaded product data. Spherical plain bearings are used where a pivot point must support load while allowing limited angular movement. In barrier and hydraulic gate equipment, a worn bearing can cause arm movement, pivot noise, uneven load, or looseness in the mechanical assembly. Because this bearing may sit in a high-load pivot area, it should be matched by exact part number, bore, housing location, and operator family. Do not substitute a generic bearing unless all dimensions, load ratings, and fit are verified. Inspect the related shaft, pin, retainer, and mount before replacing the bearing alone.
Compatible With
- HySecurity SA / StrongArm mechanical assemblies where MX000579 is specified
- Barrier arm or pivot applications using the matching spherical plain bearing
- Service work where the existing bearing is marked or documented as MX000579
- Related HySecurity mechanical pivot points only when confirmed by diagram

Technician Note
A new bearing will not correct a worn shaft, elongated mount, bent arm, or misaligned pivot. Inspect all mating hardware before installing the replacement.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Verify the bearing location in the parts diagram
- Measure the old bearing if the part number is missing
- Inspect pin, shaft, and mounting bore condition
- Check for arm impact damage
- Lubricate or service according to HySecurity maintenance requirements
Professional Advisory
Pivot bearing replacement can involve heavy moving components. Support the barrier arm or gate assembly before removing pivot hardware.
Important Ordering Warning
Public compatibility data is limited for MX000579. Use exact parts-diagram confirmation before ordering.
Product Questions and Answers
What is HySecurity MX000579 used for?
HySecurity MX000579 is used as a replacement spherical plain bearing in HySecurity SA / StrongArm pivot service applications. Match it to the original part number and the operator parts diagram before ordering.
How do I confirm MX000579 is the correct part?
Compare the part number on the existing component, the operator model, the control system generation, and the physical or electrical specifications shown in the parts diagram.
What problem can a worn spherical bearing cause?
A worn bearing can create looseness, clunking, uneven movement, or abnormal wear at the pivot point.
Can I match this bearing by appearance only?
No. Bearings with similar appearance can have different dimensions and load ratings. Match the exact HySecurity part number or verified bearing specification.
Should a technician install MX000579?
A qualified gate technician is recommended whenever the repair involves electrical wiring, stored energy, moving gate hardware, hydraulic components, or safety-related operation.
