HySecurity MX001810, BATTERY BACKUP KIT, 50AH, SM
HySecurity MX001810 is the extended 50Ah battery backup conversion kit used on SwingSmart DC operators when a site needs longer DC reserve capacity than the standard small battery set. The kit is built around two 50Ah batteries and includes the mounting tray/bracket, hardware, and wiring needed to install the larger battery set in the SwingSmart DC chassis. This is a practical upgrade for gated communities, commercial properties, ranch entrances, and South Florida sites where short utility interruptions can leave a swing gate inactive. The kit does not make an improperly maintained operator reliable by itself; battery age, charger condition, accessory load, gate balance, and duty cycle still affect backup run time. Verify the operator is SwingSmart DC, not SwingSmart CNX, HydraSwing, StrongArm, or a different HySecurity family, before ordering.
Compatible With
- HySecurity SwingSmart DC 20 operators when the parts diagram calls for MX001810
- HySecurity SwingSmart DCS 20 solar/DC configurations when supported by the operator manual
- SwingSmart DC systems being converted from the original small 8Ah battery arrangement to the extended 50Ah battery arrangement
- Applications requiring extended backup capacity during power loss, when charger and wiring are in good condition

Professional Advisory
Battery replacement and backup conversion work should be performed by a qualified gate technician familiar with DC gate operators and battery safety.
Important Ordering Warning
Do not order this kit for SlideSmart, SlideDriver, StrongArm, HydraSwing, or other HySecurity operators unless the parts diagram specifically calls for MX001810.
Product Questions and Answers
What is HySecurity MX001810 used for?
HySecurity MX001810 is used as a replacement battery backup conversion kit in select SwingSmart DC swing gate operator applications. Match it to the original part number and the operator parts diagram before ordering.
How do I confirm MX001810 is the correct part?
Compare the part number on the existing component, the operator model, the control system generation, and the physical or electrical specifications shown in the parts diagram.
Does MX001810 include the batteries?
Yes. Current descriptions for MX001810 identify it as an extended kit with two 50Ah batteries plus mounting and wiring hardware.
Will this kit tell me how long the gate will run during an outage?
