HySecurity MX001887, SEAL KIT, BRAKING MANIFOLD
The HySecurity MX001887 seal kit is used during service of the braking manifold on select HySecurity hydraulic gate operators. Listings commonly describe the kit as braking manifold O-rings or manifold O-rings, which means it is a sealing kit rather than the complete manifold assembly. Braking manifold seals are small parts, but they are important because leakage or improper sealing can affect hydraulic control and gate stopping performance. Public compatibility references associate MX001887 with StrongArm, SlideDriver, SwingRiser, and HydraLift service parts. Exact use still depends on the operator build and manifold shown in the parts diagram. When servicing a hydraulic manifold, keep the work clean, replace damaged seals with the correct kit, and test the operator after reassembly.
Common service reasons may include motor failure, heat, noise, damaged leads, worn hydraulic seals, missing hardware, limit-reference errors, or other symptoms tied to the specific part type. Always diagnose the operator first so the replacement part corrects the actual problem.
Compatible With
This part may be used with the following HySecurity applications when confirmed by part number, operator model, serial number, voltage package, and parts diagram:
- Select HySecurity StrongArm hydraulic barrier operators when the braking manifold parts diagram calls for MX001887
- Select HySecurity SlideDriver hydraulic slide gate operators using the matching braking manifold seal set
- Select HySecurity SwingRiser hydraulic swing/lift operators when the parts diagram calls for this seal kit
- Select HySecurity HydraLift operators using the compatible braking manifold assembly
- Other HySecurity hydraulic operators only when the exact manifold seal kit is shown as MX001887

Technician Note
Do not select HySecurity service parts by appearance alone. Similar operators can use different motors, switches, manifolds, seals, voltages, phases, frequencies, horsepower ratings, or hardware revisions. Match the original part number and the operator parts diagram before replacing components.
Before Ordering
- Verify the HySecurity part number printed on the old part or shown in the operator parts diagram.
- Confirm the operator model, serial number, and production generation.
- For motors, match horsepower, voltage, phase, frequency, RPM, motor type, and pump coupling arrangement.
- For hydraulic parts, confirm the exact manifold, seal location, and whether the system must be depressurized before service.
- For limit switch parts, confirm switch style, mounting hardware, harness condition, and limit adjustment procedure.
- Inspect related components so a failed motor, leaking seal, or limit issue is not caused by another damaged part.
Professional Advisory
Gate operators can move heavy gates and may contain high-voltage wiring, stored hydraulic pressure, and monitored safety circuits. Do not bypass safety devices, limit switches, entrapment protection, or factory wiring. If the operator moves unpredictably, has missing safety devices, leaks hydraulic fluid, or requires electrical diagnosis, have the system inspected by a qualified gate technician.
Questions & Answers
What is the HySecurity MX001887 seal kit used for?
MX001887 is a braking manifold seal kit commonly described as a set of O-rings used when servicing the braking manifold on select HySecurity hydraulic operators.
Which HySecurity operators commonly use MX001887?
MX001887 is commonly associated with StrongArm, SlideDriver, SwingRiser, and HydraLift service parts, but the operator parts diagram should be checked before ordering.
Does this kit include the complete braking manifold?
No. This listing is for the seal kit/O-rings for the braking manifold, not the complete manifold assembly or hydraulic valve block.
When should braking manifold seals be replaced?
They are typically replaced during braking manifold service, when leakage is found around the manifold sealing points, or when the parts diagram calls for new seals during reassembly.
Should hydraulic manifold service be handled by a technician?
Yes when the system is under pressure, leaking, or causing unsafe gate movement. Hydraulic gate systems should be serviced carefully and tested after reassembly.
