HySecurity MX002837, MANIFOLD, BRAKE, CLOSE, M30
HySecurity MX002837 is a close brake manifold assembly for select StrongArm M30 and StrongArm M50 hydraulic barrier arm operators. The close brake manifold is part of the hydraulic control system that helps manage braking and holding action during the close side of the arm cycle. Public listings identify it as a brake manifold close assembly with valves and fitting connections that mount to the cylinder. This part is not the same as an open brake manifold, pump pack, cylinder, hand pump, or generic hydraulic valve block. In service, it may be considered when the close-side brake circuit is leaking, damaged, contaminated, or no longer controlling the arm as intended. Because brake-manifold problems can look similar to pump, valve, cylinder, hose, and adjustment issues, the original hydraulic schematic and parts diagram should be checked before replacing this component.
Compatible With
This part is commonly associated with the following HySecurity applications when the installed equipment and parts diagram call for this exact part number:
- HySecurity StrongArm M30 hydraulic barrier operators where MX002837 is specified
- HySecurity StrongArm M50 hydraulic barrier operators where MX002837 is specified
- StrongArm M30/M50 close-side brake manifold service applications
- Cylinder-mounted close brake manifold assemblies using the matching HySecurity valve/fitting layout

Technician Note
HySecurity parts often vary by operator family, production date, voltage, hydraulic layout, arm length, handing, and installed accessory package. Match the original part number and use the operator parts diagram before treating any related number as a direct replacement.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Verify the original part number is MX002837 or a supported related reference.
- Confirm the operator model, serial range, production generation, and parts diagram before ordering.
- Inspect the surrounding hardware, wiring, hoses, fittings, or mounting components that may have caused the original failure.
- Do not substitute similar-looking HySecurity parts unless the manufacturer parts list confirms interchange.
- For powered, hydraulic, or moving barrier systems, secure the gate or barrier arm and disconnect power before service.
Professional Advisory
Gate and barrier operator service can involve stored mechanical force, moving arms, hydraulic pressure, and high-voltage circuits. Do not bypass safety devices or force the operator to run with missing protection. Electrical, hydraulic, or unsafe movement problems should be handled by a qualified gate technician.
Product Questions and Answers
What does the MX002837 brake manifold do?
It is part of the close-side hydraulic brake circuit on select StrongArm M30/M50 operators and helps control hydraulic braking and holding action during close operation.
Is this the same as the open brake manifold?
No. MX002837 is identified as the close brake manifold. Open-side brake manifold parts should be ordered by their own part number and diagram callout.
Where does this manifold install?
Public references describe it as a brake manifold with valves and fittings that mounts to the cylinder on compatible StrongArm M30/M50 applications.
What problems can a bad close brake manifold cause?
Symptoms may include leakage, poor close-side holding, abnormal arm movement, or brake control issues, but hoses, valves, cylinder condition, pressure settings, and fluid contamination should also be checked.
Should this be replaced by a technician?
Yes. Hydraulic brake and cylinder-mounted components should be serviced by a qualified gate technician with the operator secured and hydraulic pressure safely managed.
