HySecurity MX4029, FITTINGS KIT,1/2" HOSE,1/4"QD
HySecurity MX4029 is a fittings kit identified as a 1/2 inch hose with a 1/4 inch quick-disconnect fitting arrangement. In HySecurity service work, hose and quick-disconnect kits are used to replace damaged, leaking, or worn hydraulic/pressure-line connections while keeping the operator serviceable. This part should be treated as a specific HySecurity service kit, not a generic hydraulic hose assembly. A correct match depends on hose size, fitting type, quick-disconnect style, thread/seal type, pressure rating, hose length, and the way the line connects to the hydraulic panel or operator assembly. Similar-looking fittings can fail or leak if the sealing face, thread form, or quick-disconnect type does not match. Before ordering, verify the original parts list, inspect the existing fitting, and confirm whether the operator requires MX4029 or another hose/fitting kit.
Compatible With
This part is commonly associated with the following HySecurity applications when the installed equipment and parts diagram call for this exact part number:
- Select HySecurity hydraulic or pressure-line service applications where MX4029 is specified
- HySecurity assemblies requiring a 1/2 inch hose and 1/4 inch quick-disconnect fitting kit
- Maintenance applications where the original parts diagram calls for MX4029
- Not a universal hose kit - verify operator model and fitting layout

Technician Note
HySecurity parts often vary by operator family, production date, voltage, hydraulic layout, arm length, handing, and installed accessory package. Match the original part number and use the operator parts diagram before treating any related number as a direct replacement.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Verify the original part number is MX4029 or a supported related reference.
- Confirm the operator model, serial range, production generation, and parts diagram before ordering.
- Inspect the surrounding hardware, wiring, hoses, fittings, or mounting components that may have caused the original failure.
- Do not substitute similar-looking HySecurity parts unless the manufacturer parts list confirms interchange.
- For powered, hydraulic, or moving barrier systems, secure the gate or barrier arm and disconnect power before service.
Professional Advisory
Gate and barrier operator service can involve stored mechanical force, moving arms, hydraulic pressure, and high-voltage circuits. Do not bypass safety devices or force the operator to run with missing protection. Electrical, hydraulic, or unsafe movement problems should be handled by a qualified gate technician.
Product Questions and Answers
What does MX4029 include?
Public references describe MX4029 as a fittings kit with 1/2 inch hose and a 1/4 inch quick-disconnect connection.
Is this a universal hydraulic hose?
No. MX4029 should be ordered only when the HySecurity parts diagram calls for this kit and the hose/fitting layout matches.
Why does fitting style matter?
Quick-disconnects and hose fittings can share similar sizes but use different thread, seat, seal, or pressure designs. A mismatch can leak or fail.
What should be verified before ordering?
Verify the operator model, parts diagram, hose length, fitting size, quick-disconnect style, and any pressure-rating requirements.
Should the hydraulic system be depressurized before service?
Yes. The operator should be secured, locked out, and safely depressurized before hydraulic hose or fitting work is performed.
