HySecurity MX4625-P, GEARBOX, SLIDE 535 w/ OIL
The HySecurity MX4625-P is a gearbox assembly with oil for supported HySecurity Slide 535 / SlideSmart 535 and CNX slide gate operator applications. The gearbox is part of the mechanical drive system, transferring motor output into the torque and speed needed to move the slide gate. A failing gearbox can cause noise, binding, oil leakage, slipping, uneven movement, or a drive system that can no longer move the gate reliably under load.
The -P suffix should be confirmed against the current supplier listing or HySecurity parts diagram. This part is for slide operator gearbox applications and should not be confused with MX4624-P, which is commonly referenced as the Swing 535 gearbox with oil. Gearbox orientation, shaft interface, mounting pattern, oil fill, and operator generation all matter. If the gate is dragging or misaligned, replacing the gearbox without correcting the load problem can lead to repeat failure.
Compatible With
- Supported HySecurity Slide 535 / SlideSmart 535 slide gate operators where MX4625-P is specified.
- Select HySecurity CNX slide gate operator applications using the matching Slide 535 gearbox assembly.
- Slide operator drive systems requiring a gearbox assembly supplied with oil.
- Not interchangeable with MX4624-P Swing 535 gearbox applications.
- Verify mounting pattern, orientation, shaft interface, oil requirements, and operator parts diagram before ordering.

Technician Note
Before replacing a gearbox, check gate rollers, guide rollers, rail condition, chain or drive components, wheel pressure, and gate balance. A heavy or binding gate can damage a new gearbox.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the operator is a supported Slide 535 / SlideSmart 535 or CNX slide model.
- Match the original gearbox part number to MX4625-P.
- Do not confuse this slide gearbox with MX4624-P swing gearbox.
- Inspect for oil leakage, shaft wear, mounting damage, and drive system overload.
- Correct gate binding or alignment issues before putting the new gearbox into service.
Professional Advisory
Gearbox replacement involves heavy mechanical components and drive system alignment. If the operator is noisy, leaking oil, or struggling under load, a qualified HySecurity technician should inspect the complete slide gate system before replacement.
Questions & Answers
What is MX4625-P used for?
MX4625-P is a gearbox assembly with oil for supported HySecurity Slide 535 / SlideSmart 535 and CNX slide gate operator applications.
Is MX4625-P the same as MX4624-P?
No. MX4625-P is associated with slide 535 gearbox applications, while MX4624-P is commonly referenced for swing 535 gearbox applications.
Does this gearbox come with oil?
Supplier listings commonly describe MX4625-P as a gearbox with oil, but included oil and packaging should be confirmed with the supplier.
What symptoms can point to gearbox failure?
Noise, oil leakage, binding, slipping, uneven gate movement, or an operator that cannot move the gate under normal load can point to gearbox or drive system problems.
What should I check before replacing the gearbox?
Check the operator model, gearbox orientation, mounting pattern, shaft interface, oil requirements, gate alignment, and any external causes of overload.
