The Linear 2100-699 is an OEM replacement Mounting Bracket for Linear/OSCO gate operator systems. Auxiliary rotary limit switch mounting bracket for 2100-series gate operators. This part is engineered to restore original performance and is compatible with Linear OSCO 2100-series gate operators with auxiliary or rotary limit switch and OSCO barrier and slide gate operators requiring secondary limit position sensing. Constructed from Steel with protective finish, this component meets the mechanical demands of continuous gate operation. Always consult the applicable Linear/OSCO service manual before installation to verify fitment.
A: This bracket mounts the auxiliary or rotary limit switch to the operator frame, providing a secondary position-sensing point used for functions such as partial open, warning lights, accessory activation, or redundant limit detection.
A: A rotary limit switch uses a rotating cam or disc driven by the operator shaft to actuate switch contacts at precise angular positions, allowing more accurate and repeatable limit setting compared to linear actuator switches.
A: The bracket is fabricated from steel with a protective finish, providing rigid and stable positioning for the rotary limit switch through repeated gate cycles.
A: The 2100-698 bracket mounts the main limit switch box, while the 2100-699 bracket is for an auxiliary or secondary rotary limit switch. They are separate components for different switch assemblies on the same operator.
A: Replace the bracket if it is bent, corroded, or cracked in a way that prevents proper alignment and secure mounting of the auxiliary rotary limit switch.
