Square machine key 3/16 x 3/16 x 1-1/2 inch for securing pulleys or sprockets to shafts on Linear/OSCO gate operators. Machine Key manufactured by Linear (part number 2200-333). Compatible with Linear gate operators, OSCO gate operators and related gate operator systems. Dimensions: 3/16 in wide x 3/16 in tall x 1-1/2 in long. Constructed from Steel (alloy unspecified).
A: It is a square machine key measuring 3/16 x 3/16 x 1-1/2 inch, used to transmit torque between a shaft and a mounted component such as a pulley or sprocket in Linear and OSCO gate operators.
A: A machine key fits into a keyway machined into both the shaft and the hub of the driven component, locking them rotationally together while allowing disassembly when needed.
A: Replace the key when it shows shearing, deformation, or rounding of its edges, or whenever a pulley or sprocket shows slipping on the shaft.
A: The key is typically low-carbon or medium-carbon steel in compliance with standard machine key specifications, though the exact alloy is not officially published for this part.
A: Confidence is low because no official documentation has been located beyond the part title. The dimensions are taken directly from the part name; verify with Linear/OSCO support before ordering.
