The Linear 2400-149 is an OEM replacement Roller Chain for use in Linear and OSCO gate operator assemblies. Materials: High-strength steel (standard roller chain construction). Dimensions: #41 chain pitch: 1/2 in (12.7 mm); 30 links = 15 in nominal length; roller width: 0.306 in (narrower than #40). #41 Roller Chain 30-Link Section for Linear/OSCO HSLG Gate Operators. Order the genuine Linear part to ensure proper fit and function in your gate operator system.
A: It is a 30-link section of #41 roller chain used in the drive mechanism of Linear/OSCO HSLG slide gate operators.
A: #41 chain has the same 1/2 in pitch as #40 chain but uses a narrower roller (0.306 in vs 0.500 in for #40), making it lighter and suitable for lower-torque applications in gate operators.
A: The part provides 30 links, which at 1/2 in pitch equals approximately 15 in of chain length.
A: It is listed in the Linear HSLG Slide Gate Operator Installation Guide as a replacement drive chain component.
A: Replace the chain if it shows signs of elongation beyond 3% (check with a chain wear gauge), corrosion, cracked plates, or if it skips on the drive sprocket.
