The Linear 2500-214 is a 480VAC to 24VAC 40VA step-down control transformer for high-voltage gate operator installations. Engineered for use with Linear gate operators, Nortek gate operators, Nice gate operators, this control transformer is a genuine Linear replacement part designed to maintain reliable operation of your gate system. 460/480VAC input to 24VAC output for high-voltage sites. Consult the Linear installation guide for proper installation and wiring specifications.
A: The 2500-214 accepts 460/480VAC input and provides a 24VAC output at 40VA, designed for industrial or commercial sites with higher-voltage power supplies.
A: The 2500-212 is designed for 120VAC input sites while the 2500-214 is used where 480VAC three-phase or single-phase power is the available supply voltage.
A: 480VAC transformers are typically used in industrial or commercial environments where the available power feed is a 480V system rather than standard 120V residential power.
A: The 24VAC output powers the gate operator control board and low-voltage accessories, the same as the 120V input version.
A: 40VA provides sufficient capacity to power the gate operator control circuit board and standard low-voltage accessories such as pushbutton stations and safety inputs.
