Linear 2500-2551 is a safety sensing set from Linear, designed for use with Linear and OSCO gate operator systems. NEMA 4 rated emitter/detector safety sensing set with Vitector interface for Linear gate operators. Enclosure rating: NEMA 4.
A: The 2500-2551 is an emitter and detector sensing set rated NEMA 4 for weather-resistant outdoor installation, designed to detect obstructions in the gate travel path and halt gate movement for safety.
A: NEMA 4 enclosures are constructed to provide a degree of protection against windblown dust and rain, splashing water, and hose-directed water. This makes the set suitable for outdoor gate operator installations.
A: Vitector refers to a sensing edge or safety sensing technology used in conjunction with gate operators to detect contact or proximity and trigger a stop or reverse command to prevent entrapment.
A: No official datasheet has been published by Linear/Nortek for this part. Contact Linear technical support or consult the gate operator installation manual for wiring and mounting details.
A: This set is designed specifically for Linear and OSCO gate operator systems. Verify compatibility with your specific gate operator model before ordering.
