Linear 2800-111-CTR is a 10 Ft Articulating Arm Center Section for Linear BGU Barrier Gate Operator. Compatible with Linear BGU barrier gate operator, Linear BGUS barrier gate operator. Center section sub-component of the 2800-111 10-foot articulating arm assembly. Designed for Limited Headroom BGU and BGUS barrier gate operator installations.
A: The 2800-111-CTR is the center section sub-component of the 2800-111 10-foot articulating arm assembly. It is not the complete arm - it is the middle segment that connects the proximal and distal sections of the articulating arm on Linear BGU barrier gate operators.
A: The -CTR center section is designed specifically for the Linear BGU and BGUS series barrier gate operators. These operators are intended for limited overhead clearance installations where a standard straight arm cannot be used due to height restrictions.
A: The articulating arm design, of which the -CTR center section is a part, allows the arm to fold upward in a limited headroom environment rather than swinging up in a single rigid arc. This makes it suitable for installations with low overhead clearance such as parking garages and covered driveways.
A: The 2800-111-CTR center section is constructed of aluminum, consistent with the full 2800-111 articulating arm assembly. Aluminum provides a combination of light weight, corrosion resistance, and sufficient structural rigidity for barrier gate applications.
A: The 2800-111 articulating arm system supports 10-foot, 12-foot, and 14-foot arm configurations on the BGU operator. The 2800-111-CTR center section is specific to the 10-foot arm variant. For longer arm configurations, different or additional center section parts may be required.
