Marantec 115447, Trolley Replacement Kit for 12' & 14' Doors
The Marantec 115447 trolley kit is the taller-door version used on compatible 12 ft and 14 ft Marantec rail systems. On these installations, the rail and travel length are different from standard residential 7 ft and 8 ft setups, so the trolley kit must match the door height and rail family. A worn or damaged trolley can cause the opener to run without moving the door, fail to reconnect after emergency release, make clicking or grinding noises, or create uneven travel. This kit is commonly associated with heavy-duty 1.2mm / 18 gauge 2-piece rail and standard belt rail references. Because taller doors put more travel length and load cycles on the rail system, technicians should also inspect the belt, rail, door balance, top bracket, and spring system before replacing only the trolley.

This is the tall-door trolley kit. If the door is 7 ft, 8 ft, or 10 ft, the common trolley reference is 118798, not 115447.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the garage door is 12 ft or 14 ft tall.
- Verify the rail type is compatible with the 115447 trolley kit.
- Inspect belt condition, belt connector, rail end assembly, sprocket holder, and emergency release parts.
- Check the door balance and spring system before replacing the trolley.
- Confirm the top door bracket and arm connection are secure.
Important Ordering Warnings
- Do not install a tall-door trolley kit on a shorter rail system unless the Marantec parts diagram specifically confirms it.
- A failed trolley may indicate a heavy, binding, or poorly balanced door that needs service.
Professional Advisory
Tall residential doors can place extra load on opener hardware. If the trolley failed, have the spring balance, cable condition, track alignment, and rail system inspected before normal operation.
