Security Brands 15-013 Fire Access Box for Knox Key Switch
The Security Brands 15-013 is a fire access box for sites that require a Knox key switch style emergency access station. It gives first responders a dedicated, easily visible red access point at the gate or entry location. In the field, fire access boxes are commonly required by the authority having jurisdiction so emergency personnel can enter without damaging the gate or waiting for a resident, guard, or property manager. The 15-013 is not a padlock model and not the cable-release model; it is the version designed around Knox key switch use. Because fire access rules are local, the exact switch, wiring method, mounting position, and approval process should be confirmed with the local fire department before installation.

Before Ordering
- Confirm the manufacturer part number and any old/new part number references.
- Match the product family and application, not just the brand name.
- Check voltage, frequency, activation method, receiver family, or battery type as applicable.
- Review the existing wiring, mounting location, and enclosure before replacing the part.
- For fire access or line-voltage work, confirm local code and use a qualified professional when required.

Professional Advisory
Access-control and power-management parts should be installed in accordance with the gate operator, access controller, local code, and site safety requirements. For high-voltage wiring, fire department access, or unsafe gate movement, use a qualified gate technician or licensed professional where required.
