AES IBK-KEY, Set of 2 Keys for Callbox
The AES IBK-KEY is a set of 2 replacement keys for compatible AES iB Range intercoms and callboxes. This key set is used when service access keys are missing, worn, damaged, or needed as spares for an installed AES callbox that uses the IBK-KEY key style.
This item is intended for callbox service access, not electronic access control. It does not program users, operate a gate relay, replace a keypad code, replace a prox credential, or unlock a gate operator. It is a physical key set for compatible AES intercom or callbox housings that use the matching lock.
Before ordering, verify the installed AES model, original key type, lock cylinder, and service documentation. AES has multiple intercom, callbox, OPYN, Opyn Pro, OPYN-MULTI, Prime, modular, and accessory families that may not use the same physical key.
What This Part Does
The IBK-KEY provides replacement physical keys for compatible AES iB Range intercom or callbox housings. These keys are typically used by installers, service technicians, property managers, or authorized personnel who need to open the supported callbox cabinet for inspection, maintenance, wiring, or service.
- Set of 2 replacement keys
- Designed for compatible AES iB Range intercoms / callboxes
- Used for physical service access to supported AES callbox housings
- Useful as a replacement set or spare key set
- Intercom accessory only; not a complete callbox or lock assembly
- Should be matched to the installed AES lock/key style before ordering
Compatible With
The AES IBK-KEY is intended for compatible AES iB Range intercoms and callboxes that use this specific replacement key set. Compatibility should be verified before ordering because similar AES housings and callbox families may use different lock styles or service keys.
- Select AES iB Range intercoms that call for IBK-KEY
- Select AES iB Range callbox housings using the matching physical key
- Replacement-key applications where the original key style matches IBK-KEY
- Service access needs for compatible AES callbox installations
Important Compatibility Warning
Do not assume this key set fits every AES callbox. The IBK-KEY should be matched to the original key, the installed lock cylinder, and the AES product family before ordering. If the lock has been changed in the field, the original AES key part number may no longer match the installed lock.
- Confirm the exact part number is IBK-KEY.
- Confirm the installed AES unit is part of the compatible iB Range or uses the same key style.
- Confirm the lock cylinder has not been replaced with a different keyed lock.
- Confirm the key is needed for cabinet/service access, not electronic gate access.
- Do not confuse this key set with prox tags, prox cards, keypad codes, remotes, transmitters, or access credentials.
- Do not order this part to replace a damaged lock cylinder unless the lock itself is still usable.

Technician Note
Before ordering replacement keys, confirm whether the callbox still has the factory-style AES lock. Many field installations are rekeyed over time by property managers, locksmiths, installers, or maintenance staff. If the lock cylinder has been replaced, the IBK-KEY may not match even if the callbox is an AES unit.
If the existing key is lost and the lock cylinder cannot be identified, check the installed AES model, installation records, service notes, and any remaining spare keys before ordering. If the lock is damaged or has been changed, a key set alone may not solve the issue.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- Confirm the exact part number is IBK-KEY.
- Confirm the installed AES unit uses the iB Range key style.
- Confirm the lock cylinder has not been changed in the field.
- Confirm the key is needed for cabinet or service access.
- Confirm this is not being ordered as an electronic access credential.
- Confirm whether 2 keys are enough for the installer, property manager, and service records.
- Do not force a key into a lock that does not turn freely.
Installation and Service Notes
- Use only authorized service keys for the property and equipment being serviced.
- Do not force the key if the lock is corroded, jammed, damaged, or misaligned.
- Inspect the lock cylinder and latch if the key turns but the callbox door will not open.
- Keep spare keys documented and assigned to authorized personnel only.
- Replace or service a damaged lock rather than forcing the key and damaging the callbox housing.
- Follow property access procedures when opening a callbox or intercom cabinet.
Professional Advisory
AES IBK-KEY replacement keys should be used only by authorized personnel for legitimate service access to compatible AES callboxes or intercoms. Do not use replacement keys to bypass property security, tenant access rules, fire access equipment, emergency access procedures, gate operator safety systems, or any site access policy. If the lock is damaged, rekeyed, or does not match the key, have the lock and callbox inspected by a qualified technician or locksmith.
