BEA 10TD900HH2, 900 MHz 2-button handheld transmitter
The BEA 10TD900HH2 is part of BEA's 900 MHz wireless transmitter and receiver family for automatic door activation. It sends a digital 908-918 MHz radio signal to a compatible BEA receiver, allowing the receiver to trigger the door control without a direct hardwired push button at that point of activation.
The standard handheld version is a compact keyring-style transmitter for daily user activation. The 2-button layout lets the installer assign separate buttons to receiver channels or door functions when the receiving equipment and wiring support it.
The important fitment point is the receiving side of the system. This transmitter is intended for BEA 900 MHz receiving equipment, not for unrelated garage door opener receivers, older fixed-code gate receivers, or other radio families. For a reliable installation, match the transmitter part number, frequency family, button count, and receiver programming method before placing the order.

Technician Note
Confirm the BEA 900 MHz family or sliding-door sensor family before ordering. Similar BEA part numbers can differ by button count, housing type, receiver function, voltage, monitoring support, or application. For automatic pedestrian doors, test the door after installation and keep all required safety devices active.
Before Ordering
- Match the manufacturer part number printed on the existing product or service documentation.
- Confirm the product family: BEA 900 MHz wireless, BEA Tech Kit, or BEA ULTIMO sliding door sensor.
- For transmitters, confirm the receiver is a compatible BEA 900 MHz receiver or receiver logic module.
- For sensor work, confirm door type, mounting height, wiring, monitoring input, and safety standard requirements.
- Do not substitute standard, industrial, universal, retrofit, or sensor products just because the housings look similar.
Professional Advisory
Automatic pedestrian door wiring, sensor monitoring, and safety testing should be handled by a qualified automatic door technician. Do not bypass presence sensors, monitored safety inputs, or required door safety functions to make a part operate.
Important Ordering Warnings
- Standard handheld, industrial handheld, universal, push plate, and retrofit transmitters are different BEA 900 MHz products and should not be mixed unless the receiver and application support them.
- 900 MHz frequency does not guarantee compatibility with non-BEA receivers or unrelated operator-brand radio systems.
- For ULTIMO applications, final detection-field setup and safety inspection are required after installation.
Product Q&A
Will the BEA 10TD900HH2 work with any 900 MHz receiver?
It should be used with BEA 900 MHz receiver equipment. Matching the frequency alone is not enough; the receiver family and programming method must be compatible.
What does the number of buttons control?
The buttons can be assigned to receiver channels or functions when the receiver and door control wiring support those functions. A multi-button transmitter does not add extra door functions by itself.
Can this be used as a garage door or gate remote?
Only when the garage door or gate system has a compatible BEA 900 MHz receiver installed and wired correctly. It is not a direct substitute for unrelated operator-brand remotes.
How is this transmitter programmed?
Programming is done at the compatible BEA receiver using the receiver learn function. The transmitter should be tested after programming to confirm activation and signal strength.
What should be checked if the transmitter has short range?
Check transmitter battery condition, receiver antenna location, metal header interference, building obstructions, and whether the receiver is mounted where the signal can reach it reliably.
