Genie 080839.0331.S is a Genie OEM replacement ansi #65 roller chain (Standard Open-Ended ANSI #65 Roller Chain 33-Pitch). This variant has the following dimensions: Pitch: 0.8125 in (13/16 in) | Pitch count: 33P | Total length: 33 x 0.8125 = 26.81 in | Open-ended (not looped). Construction: Standard carbon steel roller chain construction, no special plating or coating. For use with Genie commercial door operators (internal drivetrain assemblies) and Genie 080839 series compatible operators. Selecting the correct chain ANSI size, pitch count, and configuration (open-ended vs. loop) is critical for proper installation and operator function.
A: Part number 080839.0331.S is an open-ended (non-looped) ANSI #65 roller chain with 33 pitches and a total length of 26.81 in. It is not a loop or endless chain.
A: ANSI #65 roller chain has a pitch of 0.8125 in (13/16 in). At 33 pitches, the total length of this chain is 33 x 0.8125 = 26.81 in.
A: The 080839 series uses standard carbon steel construction with no special plating. If a nickel-plated #65 chain is required, refer to the 109269 series (e.g., 109269.0031.S).
A: The 080839.0271.S is 27 pitches (21.94 in), the 080839.0331.S is 33 pitches (26.81 in), and the 080839.0371.S is 37 pitches (30.06 in). Select based on the specific drivetrain length required by your Genie operator model.
A: ANSI #65 roller chain has a rated tensile strength of approximately 13,200 lbf, making it suitable for the mechanical loads found in Genie commercial door operator drivetrains.
