The Genie 109977.0001.S is a Hub Assembly designed for Genie commercial door operator systems. This Dentil Hub Service Replacement Assembly for Genie Commercial Operators provides reliable OEM-grade performance for service and replacement applications. Mounting: Shaft-mounted within operator drivetrain. Compatible with Genie commercial door operators with dentil drive system.
A: The dentil hub is the hub component to which the dentil (part 111110.0001.S) mounts. Together they form the dentil drive assembly, which is used in Genie commercial operators to engage and disengage drive elements such as chains or couplings.
A: The dentil drive system uses a toothed or notched hub (dentil hub) to engage a mating dentil component, providing a positive mechanical coupling that can be engaged or disengaged for manual release or clutch functions within the operator drivetrain.
A: The .S suffix indicates this is a service replacement part intended for field repair and maintenance, not a factory-build assembly component.
A: A full datasheet for 109977.0001.S is not available in web documentation. Consult the Genie parts manual for your specific operator model or contact Genie technical support for dimensions, material, and compatibility details.
A: Dentil hub failure symptoms may include inability to engage or disengage manual release, unusual noise from the drivetrain during operation, or visible wear or damage to the hub teeth or mounting surfaces.
