The Genie 111342.0975.S is an ANSI #41 roller chain with 975P (18 ft) for use on Genie GCL-GT and RHX commercial trolley-style door operators. At a standard #41 pitch of 0.500 in per link, this chain delivers reliable power transmission in light-to-medium duty commercial door applications. It is a direct OEM replacement part for the Genie 111342.0975.S and is sold as individual chain length (each). Proper chain length selection is critical - verify the door height matches the pitch count before ordering. The 111342 series spans door heights from 10 ft (591P) through 20 ft (1071P).
A: The suffix 0975 denotes 975 pitches of #41 chain at 0.500 in pitch each, yielding an overall length of approximately 487.5 in, or 18 ft, sized to suit an 18-ft commercial door opening.
A: #41 roller chain has a 0.500 in pitch and is a lighter-duty ANSI standard chain compared to #50 chain, which uses a 0.625 in pitch. Always confirm your Genie operator model calls for #41 chain before ordering.
A: This chain is confirmed compatible with the Genie GCL-GT and RHX commercial trolley operators. Check your operator's installation manual or the operator nameplate to verify #41 chain is the specified drive chain before purchasing.
A: The S suffix typically denotes the standard or stock variant of the chain assembly within the 111342 series, distinguishing it from any special-length or pre-lubricated variants that may carry a different suffix.
A: Roller chain service life depends on lubrication, tension, and load cycles. Inspect the chain periodically for elongation (wear beyond 3% stretch), stiff or seized links, corrosion, and damaged rollers. Replace if any of these conditions are found to avoid operator damage or door failure.
