A: The .0002.S variant is rated for the higher-torque 3HP EXPF operator. Internal components such as the cord, actuator, or mechanical linkage are sized for the greater forces involved in a 3HP drive system.
A: The 3HP EXPF operator is used for heavier commercial doors requiring greater lifting force. It is still explosion-proof and FM-approved for hazardous locations.
A: Yes. Like the standard HP version, this kit includes a 3V lithium battery to ensure the release actuator can operate independent of facility power.
A: Both kits include two handles. For the 3HP variant, the handles and cord must be robust enough to disengage a higher-torque clutch or drive mechanism, so components are not interchangeable with the standard HP kit.
A: Using the wrong kit risks either failure to disengage the drive under load (if undersized) or unnecessary cost (if oversized). Always verify your EXPF operator HP rating on the motor nameplate before ordering.
