The Genie 35265E.S is a 22AWG 2-conductor coiled bell wire, 90 ft, heavier gauge for reduced voltage drop on longer runs. Dimensions: 90 ft coiled. Constructed from Copper conductor with PVC insulation. Compatible with Genie garage door openers with screw terminal connections, Safety beam sensors, Wall consoles. Mounting: Screw terminal connection.
A: The heavier 22AWG gauge reduces resistance over long runs, minimizing voltage drop compared to 24AWG wire of the same length.
A: It is used for safety beam sensors, wall consoles, and push buttons connected to Genie garage door openers, especially over longer distances.
A: The 35265B.S is 24AWG at 90 ft; the 35265E.S is 22AWG at 90 ft, offering lower resistance for the same run length.
A: No - this is a low-voltage signal wire not rated for mains power.
A: Strip the ends, route the wire from the opener control board to the accessory, and secure each end to the appropriate screw terminals.
