Genie GE-113410.0001.S Miller Edge MIM-62 Multi-Input Module
The Genie GE-113410.0001.S is the Genie-listed part number for the Miller Edge MIM-62 multi-input module. This module is used with select Genie gate operator installations where multiple monitored external entrapment devices need to be connected, assigned, and routed to compatible operator safety inputs.
The MIM-62 is an interface and expansion module, not a safety device by itself. It does not replace photo eyes, monitored sensing edges, gate operator safety inputs, or proper UL 325 entrapment-protection setup. It should be used only where the gate operator manual, safety-device documentation, and wiring layout confirm that the MIM-62 is the correct accessory.
Primary Use
- Multi-input interface module for select monitored gate safety device installations
- Used where Genie documentation lists Miller Edge MIM-62 with Genie part number 113410.0001.S
- Helps expand a compatible gate operator safety setup to accept multiple monitored entrapment devices
- Allows monitored photo eyes, monitored sensing edges, or approved monitored devices to be assigned through two outputs where supported

Important Comparison With Similar Safety Interface Parts
The MIM-62 is easy to confuse with the actual safety devices connected to it. Confirm whether you need the interface module, the monitored photo eye, the monitored sensing edge, or the operator control board before ordering.
- GE-113410.0001.S / 113410.0001.S: Genie-listed part number for the Miller Edge MIM-62 multi-input module.
- Miller Edge MIM-62: Multi-input module used to connect multiple monitored external entrapment devices and provide two outputs to a compatible gate operator.
- Monitored photo eyes: Safety sensors that detect beam obstruction. They are connected to the MIM-62 where the system design supports it, but they are not included unless the package specifically says so.
- Monitored sensing edges: Contact safety devices used on gate edges or entrapment zones. They are separate devices and must match the monitored input type being used.
- Wireless monitored edge systems: Separate transmitter/receiver systems that may be connected through the MIM-62 where supported. They are not the same as the MIM-62 itself.
- Gate operator control board: Not the same part. The MIM-62 is an accessory interface module, not the main operator controller.
- Loop detectors and exit probes: Not the same function. Vehicle detection devices do not replace monitored entrapment-protection devices.

Technician Notes
- Confirm the gate operator manual lists MIM-62 / 113410.0001.S before adding this module to the safety circuit.
- The MIM-62 does not make an unmonitored device monitored. All connected devices must be compatible monitored entrapment-protection devices for the operator and safety input being used.
- Confirm the input type for each connected safety device, such as 2-wire pulsed, 4-wire pulsed, 10K, or normally closed monitored wiring.
- Assign each safety device to the correct output and gate direction. Open-direction and close-direction entrapment devices should not be mixed or guessed during setup.
- Check power requirements before wiring. Some operator manuals may require an external listed power transformer or specific low-voltage power source for the module and connected devices.
- If a gate will not close or shows a safety fault, inspect each connected device, wiring run, splice, input assignment, DIP switch, learned device status, and output connection before replacing the module.
- Do not bypass monitored photo eyes, monitored safety edges, wireless monitored edge systems, inherent entrapment protection, or operator safety circuits to force the gate to move.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the exact part number is GE-113410.0001.S or 113410.0001.S.
- Confirm the manufacturer model needed is Miller Edge MIM-62.
- Confirm the installed Genie gate operator manual lists MIM-62 as an approved multi-input module.
- Confirm how many monitored entrapment devices need to be connected and which direction each device protects.
- Confirm each connected safety device is compatible with the MIM-62 input type and the gate operator safety input.
- Confirm the required output type and whether output A, output B, or both outputs are needed.
- Confirm power source, voltage, current limits, and whether an external listed transformer is required.
- Confirm the problem is not caused by a failed photo eye, bad edge sensor, damaged cable, water-filled conduit, incorrect DIP switch, unlearned device, or wrong safety input assignment.
- Confirm package contents before assuming wires, connectors, transformer, enclosure, mounting screws, or safety devices are included.
Professional Advisory
The MIM-62 is used in monitored entrapment-protection circuits and should be installed only by a qualified gate technician familiar with UL 325 safety-device requirements. Incorrect wiring or assignment of safety devices can create unsafe gate movement, nuisance faults, or failure to protect the correct entrapment zone. Do not bypass monitored photo eyes, monitored sensing edges, wireless monitored edge systems, inherent entrapment protection, fire access equipment, fuses, grounding, or operator safety circuits. If the gate has multiple entrapment zones, dual-gate wiring, unknown prior modifications, or recurring safety faults, have the complete safety system inspected before returning the gate to service.
Product Q&A
What is Genie GE-113410.0001.S used for?
Genie GE-113410.0001.S is the Genie-listed part number for the Miller Edge MIM-62 multi-input module. It is used to connect multiple monitored external entrapment devices to select compatible Genie gate operator safety inputs.
Is GE-113410.0001.S the same as Miller Edge MIM-62?
Yes. GE-113410.0001.S is commonly used as the Genie part number for the Miller Edge MIM-62 multi-input module. Always confirm the installed operator manual and safety-device requirements before ordering.
Does the MIM-62 include photo eyes or safety edges?
