Genie GE-113435.0001.S Post Mount Kit for Actuator Control Box
The Genie GE-113435.0001.S is a post mount kit for select Genie GLA24V linear actuator swing gate operator installations. Genie documentation lists 113435.0001.S as a mounting accessory, separate from the control box enclosure and separate from the actuator arm brackets.
This kit should be treated as a mounting accessory for the actuator control box area. It is not the control enclosure itself, not a complete electronics assembly, not the actuator arm, not a gate bracket, and not a complete GLA24V operator kit. Match this part by exact part number, operator model, mounting layout, post location, enclosure style, and supplier package contents before ordering.
Primary Use
- Post mount kit for select Genie GLA24V actuator control box installations
- Used where the actuator control enclosure needs to be mounted to a post or supported mounting structure
- Helps support the control box mounting layout where the Genie installation or service parts documentation calls for 113435.0001.S
- Used in repairs or installations where the original post mount hardware is missing, damaged, corroded, or unsuitable for reuse
- Applies to the control box mounting area, not the front or rear actuator arm mounting points
Compatible With
Use this post mount kit only where the installed Genie operator documentation confirms 113435.0001.S as the correct mounting accessory. Do not assume it fits every Genie gate operator or every control box enclosure.
- Select Genie GLA24V residential linear actuator swing gate operator installations where the accessories list shows Post Mount Kit 113435.0001.S
- Control box mounting applications where the post, enclosure, wiring path, and site layout match Genie requirements
- Service repairs where the original mounting kit is marked, ordered, or cross-referenced as 113435.0001.S
- Installations where the separate actuator control enclosure is being mounted or remounted and the proper post mounting hardware is required

Technician Notes
- Confirm the operator is a Genie GLA24V before ordering this kit. Do not assume it fits GRSW24V, GRSL24V, GCSW36V, GCSL36V, or non-Genie control boxes.
- Confirm whether the problem is with the post mount hardware, the control box enclosure, or the electronics inside the control box.
- Inspect the post or mounting structure before reusing it. A loose, rusted, cracked, or undersized post can allow the control box to move, vibrate, or take on water.
- Check wire routing, conduit location, strain relief, grommets, and drainage before mounting the control box. Poor routing can create water intrusion or wire damage.
- If the control box was hit, pulled loose, or damaged by impact, inspect the enclosure, power supply, batteries, logic board, motor drive board, reset button, and wiring before ordering only the mount kit.
- After remounting, verify that the enclosure is secure, sealed correctly, and positioned so service access, manual release access, safety wiring, and battery access are not blocked.
- Do not relocate the control box in a way that creates unsafe wire runs, interferes with gate movement, blocks required clearances, or exposes the operator electronics to water intrusion.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the exact part number is GE-113435.0001.S or 113435.0001.S.
- Confirm the installed operator is a Genie GLA24V linear actuator swing gate operator.
- Confirm you need the post mount kit, not the control box enclosure, front bracket, rear bracket, push open bracket, actuator arm, or complete operator kit.
- Confirm the post, support structure, mounting surface, and control box location are suitable for the kit.
- Confirm conduit routing, wire entry, drainage, strain relief, and service access before mounting the control box.
- Inspect the control enclosure, seals, latch area, reset button, batteries, power supply, boards, and wiring before ordering only the mount kit.
- Confirm whether brackets, bolts, nuts, washers, clamps, screws, post hardware, or mounting accessories are included.
- Confirm the original issue was not caused by impact damage, water intrusion, a cracked enclosure, loose post, damaged wiring, or poor conduit sealing.
Professional Advisory
Control box mounting affects wiring protection, enclosure sealing, service access, and long-term operator reliability. If the control box must be moved, rewired, or re-mounted after impact, water damage, battery leakage, lightning damage, or unknown prior modifications, use a qualified gate operator technician. Do not leave operator electronics unsupported, exposed to weather, or mounted where gate movement can pull on wiring. After any control box mounting repair, verify monitored photo eyes, safety edges, battery backup, reset operation, grounding, warning devices, and gate operator function before returning the system to service.
Product Q&A
What is Genie GE-113435.0001.S used for?
Genie GE-113435.0001.S is the post mount kit for select Genie GLA24V actuator control box installations where the accessories list shows Post Mount Kit 113435.0001.S.
Is GE-113435.0001.S the same as the control box enclosure?
No. GE-113435.0001.S is the post mount kit. The control box enclosure is a separate Genie service part and should not be treated as the same item.
Does this kit include the control board or power supply?
Do not assume electronics are included. The logic board, motor drive board, power supply, batteries, reset button, and wiring are separate service parts unless the supplier package specifically lists them.
Does this post mount kit fit every Genie gate operator?
No. This kit should be matched to select Genie GLA24V actuator control box applications where the Genie documentation confirms 113435.0001.S. Do not assume it fits other Genie swing, slide, or commercial operator models.
Is this the same as the front or rear actuator arm bracket?
No. The front and rear actuator arm brackets are separate Genie service parts used at the actuator mounting points. GE-113435.0001.S is for the actuator control box mounting area.
What should I inspect before replacing the post mount kit?
Inspect the post, mounting surface, control enclosure, wire entry, conduit, seals, reset button, batteries, electronics, and signs of water intrusion, impact damage, corrosion, or loose hardware before replacing only the mount kit.
Can a loose control box mount cause operator problems?
Yes. A loose or damaged control box mount can lead to wire strain, water intrusion, vibration, damaged conduit, intermittent faults, or enclosure damage. The mounting area should be secure before the gate is returned to service.
