HySecurity MX002723, ARM, LOWER LINKAGE ASSY
The HySecurity MX002723 is a lower arm linkage assembly for select HySecurity / Nice HySecurity StrongArm M30 and StrongArm M50 crash barrier applications. This linkage is part of the StrongArm M30/M50 arm and hardware assembly and helps support correct mechanical movement of the lower arm system.
This is a model-specific StrongArm crash barrier component. It should be matched by operator model, serial number, lower arm assembly, linkage position, bearing condition, retaining hardware, and current HySecurity parts diagram before ordering. Do not substitute a similar-looking linkage unless the parts diagram confirms the same part number.
What This Lower Arm Linkage Assembly Does
The lower arm linkage assembly connects into the StrongArm M30/M50 arm hardware system and helps maintain proper arm movement, geometry, and mechanical alignment. In a properly maintained barrier, the linkage works with the lower arm assembly, upper arm, straps, bearings, saddle assembly, catch pin, and related hardware.
If the linkage assembly is worn, bent, loose, or damaged, the barrier arm may move unevenly, bind, sit out of alignment, place added stress on bearings, or wear related hardware faster than normal. Linkage damage can also be a sign of impact damage, incorrect arm setup, worn bearings, loose retaining hardware, or a distorted arm assembly.
Compatible With
This linkage assembly may be used with the following applications where the current HySecurity parts diagram confirms MX002723:
- Select HySecurity StrongArm M30 crash barrier arm applications

Important Compatibility Warning
The MX002723 lower arm linkage assembly is tied to the StrongArm M30/M50 arm geometry. It should not be selected based only on the words lower arm or by visual similarity. The lower arm linkage, bearings, lower arm assembly, upper arm assembly, straps, saddle hardware, and catch pin all work together as a matched mechanical system.
If the original linkage failed due to vehicle impact, arm binding, worn bearings, loose retaining hardware, or frame movement, inspect the surrounding arm hardware before installing a new linkage assembly. Replacing only the linkage may not correct the problem if the lower arm, upper arm, saddle, straps, catch hardware, or pivot points are also damaged.

Technician Note
Before replacing the MX002723 lower arm linkage assembly, inspect the entire StrongArm M30/M50 arm system. A damaged linkage can be caused by vehicle impact, worn bearings, loose straps, bent lower arm sections, a damaged upper arm, worn catch hardware, saddle misalignment, or a barrier arm that is not seating correctly.
Check for ovaled holes, cracked welds, worn bushings, seized bearings, loose fasteners, bent linkage plates, and uneven arm movement. If the barrier was hit, do not assume the linkage is the only damaged part. The lower arm assembly, upper arm assembly, saddle, catch pin, and frame mounting points should all be inspected before the operator is returned to service.
