LiftMaster 19-35ML #35 Chain Master Link
The LiftMaster 19-35ML is a #35 chain master link used as the connecting link on select operator drive chains. In the field, this is the small but important service part that lets a technician reconnect a chain after it has been removed for repair, sprocket replacement, gearbox work, or tension adjustment.
Because master links are sized by chain pitch, this item should only be used where the original chain is #35 roller chain. A worn or missing master link can cause chain separation, jerky travel, or a complete loss of drive. Before installing a new link, the chain should be inspected for stretch, damaged rollers, worn side plates, and sprocket wear so the replacement link is not being used to cover a larger drive-train problem.

Important Compatibility Notes
- Not interchangeable with #40, #41, or #50 chain links.
- Match the chain size and original parts breakdown before ordering.
- If the chain has heavy stretch or worn rollers, replacing only the master link may not correct the drive issue.

Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the existing chain is #35 roller chain.
- Inspect the chain and sprockets for wear before replacing only the link.
- Verify the operator parts diagram calls for 19-35ML or a #35 master link.
- Do not use this link on #40, #41, or #50 chain.
- Check chain tension and alignment after installation.
Professional Advisory
Moving gate and commercial door operators can start unexpectedly and can create pinch points around chains and sprockets. Disconnect power and use a qualified technician when servicing drive components.
Product Questions & Answers
Is 19-35ML a complete chain?
No. 19-35ML is a #35 master link only. It is used to connect a compatible #35 chain and is not a full chain assembly.
Can this replace a #40 or #41 master link?
No. Chain links are not interchangeable across chain sizes. Use this only where the original chain is #35 roller chain.
When should a master link be replaced?
Replace it when the clip is missing, the side plate is worn, the link was damaged during service, or the chain was removed and the old link should not be reused.
Will this fix a stretched chain?
No. A master link can reconnect the chain, but chain stretch, stiff links, or worn sprockets usually require additional parts or a complete chain replacement.
What should be checked after installation?
Confirm the retaining clip is seated, the chain tracks straight across the sprockets, and the operator cycles without binding or jumping.
