LiftMaster 41A5250-2 Belt Assembly Kit for 10 ft Doors
The LiftMaster 41A5250-2 is a one piece full belt assembly replacement kit for select LiftMaster and Chamberlain belt drive residential garage door openers used on 10 ft door applications.
This belt is part of the opener rail drive system. It connects the motor drive system to the trolley/carriage so the opener can move the garage door smoothly and quietly.
What This Part Does
The belt assembly transfers motor movement through the rail to the trolley. A damaged or worn belt can cause slipping, chattering, jerky door travel, a door that will not move, or visible belt separation.
Before replacing the belt, check the carriage, sprocket, pulley, rail sections, and door balance. A heavy, binding, or poorly balanced door can damage a new belt quickly.
Compatible With
This belt assembly is used with select LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Sears Craftsman, and related belt drive openers that call for 41A5250-2 or a related number in the parts diagram. Door height and rail length are the key compatibility checks.

Technician Note
Do not order a belt assembly by opener head style alone. The same opener family may be sold with different rail lengths, and the belt must match the rail and door height.
If the old belt failed suddenly, inspect the belt sprocket, pulley, trolley, rail alignment, and garage door balance before installing the replacement.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- Original belt part number or parts diagram matches this listing
- Garage door height and rail setup require a 10 ft belt assembly
- Opener is a belt drive model, not chain drive or screw drive
- Rail, trolley, pulley, and sprocket are not damaged
- Garage door moves smoothly by hand with the opener disconnected
Professional Advisory
Disconnect power before servicing the opener rail. Keep hands clear of the belt, trolley, pulley, and sprocket when the opener is powered.
After installation, set belt tension according to the opener instructions and test travel, force, photo eyes, and safety reversal before returning the opener to normal use.
