LiftMaster ACKIT 315 MHz fixed code Access Value Pack - 1 361LM Remote and 1 877MAX Keypad
This LiftMaster ACKIT access value pack combines 1 361LM remote with one 877MAX wireless keyless entry keypad. It is meant for customers who want a matched access package instead of ordering remotes and a keypad separately. The keypad provides PIN-code access from outside the garage, while the included 361LM remote provide handheld access for vehicles, employees, tenants, family members, or service users depending on the installation.
The included 361LM remotes make this a fixed-code 315 MHz DIP switch access pack. That is very different from a purple Learn button 315 MHz Security+ residential remote. A 361LM is commonly used with compatible gate, commercial door, or external receiver installations where the receiver uses a 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch format, such as certain LiftMaster 312HM receiver applications. The DIP switch pattern must match the receiver or an existing working remote.
This is not a broad residential opener remote pack just because it says 315 MHz. Many Chamberlain-built residential garage door openers use Security+ rolling-code or Security+ 2.0 learn-button technology, and those systems will not accept a 361LM fixed-code remote unless a compatible fixed-code receiver is installed. The included 877MAX keypad also has its own programming path, so each item in the bundle needs to be checked against the actual receiver and opener setup.
Included in This Pack
- 1 LiftMaster 361LM remote control
- One LiftMaster 877MAX wireless keyless entry keypad
- Remote technology: 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch
- Bundle intended for matching access-control applications where all included devices are compatible with the operator or receiver
Compatible With
Compatibility on an access pack should be checked by the most restrictive item in the package. The 877MAX keypad covers multiple LiftMaster-style radio platforms, but the included remote or wall-control item may be much more specific. Use the lists below as a fitment guide and verify the opener label, Learn button color, receiver model, and existing accessory numbers before ordering.
361LM Remote Compatibility
- LiftMaster 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch receivers and compatible 315 MHz fixed-code commercial or gate operator radio controls.
- Commonly associated with LiftMaster 312HM receiver applications and older gate or commercial door setups using 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch programming.
- Can be used where the receiver is set up for 315 MHz fixed-code DIP operation and the DIP switch pattern can be matched to the existing receiver or remote.
- Related fixed-code transmitter family includes 361LM, 361LMC, 362LM, 362LMC, 363LM, 363LMC, 333LM, and 333LMC, but button count and receiver programming must be verified.
- This is not the same as a purple Learn button Security+ 315 MHz residential remote. Do not assume 361LM will work on a standard residential opener just because both mention 315 MHz.
877MAX Keypad Compatibility
- LiftMaster garage door openers manufactured since January 1993 when the opener has a compatible Learn button and required safety sensors.
- Chamberlain and Sears Craftsman openers built by Chamberlain that use the same supported radio families.
- Green Learn button units using Billion Code 390 MHz technology.
- Orange, red, or amber Learn button units using Security+ 390 MHz technology.
- Purple Learn button units using Security+ 315 MHz technology.
- Yellow circle Learn button units using Security+ 2.0 technology.
- Select LiftMaster gate operators, commercial door operators, and external receivers when the receiver supports the same MAX/keyless-entry programming method.
- Commonly associated keypad numbers include 877MAX, 877MAXMC, 878MAX, 878MAXMC, 940EV, 940EV-P2, 940EVC, 940EVC-P2, 377LM, 377LG, 376LM, 976LM, 976LG, 977LM, 977LG, 877LM, 66LM, and 387LM as related keypad families. Verify exact replacement by label and programming instructions.
Bundle Compatibility Note
When this pack is being purchased for one receiver, treat it as a 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch pack. The 361LM remote is not the same as a Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button remote.

Technician Note
The 361LM is a fixed-code DIP switch remote. It should be matched to the receiver and DIP settings, not only to the frequency printed in a listing. If the receiver is a rolling-code Security+ receiver, a 361LM remote is not the correct item.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Match the existing remote number, keypad number, wall-control number, or receiver model whenever possible.
- Confirm the opener Learn button color and antenna wire color where applicable.
- Check whether the system is Billion Code 390 MHz, Security+ 390 MHz, Security+ 315 MHz, Security+ 2.0, or fixed-code DIP switch.
- For gate and commercial door operators, verify the external receiver model and radio board setup, not just the operator model.
- Confirm that required safety sensors and entrapment-protection devices are installed and working before adding new access controls.
- Confirm the receiver uses 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch programming.
- Match the DIP switch pattern to the receiver or a working remote before installation.
Professional Advisory
Remote controls and keypads are low-voltage accessories, but they still interact with moving garage doors and gates. Do not add wireless controls to a system with unsafe door travel, damaged hardware, missing safety sensors, or unreliable reversing operation. For commercial doors, gates, or uncertain receiver wiring, have a qualified gate or garage door technician confirm the radio setup and safety-device operation before putting the system back into regular use.
Product Questions and Answers
What is included in this 315 MHz fixed-code pack?
This pack includes 1 LiftMaster 361LM 1-button fixed-code DIP switch remote control and one 877MAX wireless keypad.
Is the 361LM the same as a purple Learn button 315 MHz remote?
No. The 361LM is a 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch remote, commonly used with compatible gate, commercial door, or receiver applications. Purple Learn button remotes use Security+ 315 MHz rolling code technology.
Will this pack work with a 312HM receiver?
The 361LM is commonly associated with LiftMaster 312HM receiver applications when the receiver is set for compatible 315 MHz fixed-code DIP operation. Match the DIP switches before ordering.
Can this be used on a residential garage door opener?
Only if the opener or receiver specifically supports the 315 MHz fixed-code DIP switch format. Many residential openers use learn-button rolling-code technology and will not work with a 361LM remote.
Why is the keypad included if the remote is fixed code?
Some access packs were built to serve mixed access needs, but the keypad and remote technologies still need to be checked against the actual receiver or opener. Do not assume the keypad compatibility makes the fixed-code remotes universal.
