LiftMaster ACKIT 315 MHz Access Value Pack - 3 373LM Remotes and 1 877MAX Keypad
This LiftMaster ACKIT access value pack combines 3 373LM remotes with one 877MAX wireless keyless entry keypad. It is meant for customers who want a matched access package instead of ordering remotes and a keypad separately. The keypad provides PIN-code access from outside the garage, while the included 373LM remotes provide handheld access for vehicles, employees, tenants, family members, or service users depending on the installation.
The included 373LM remotes make this a Security+ 315 MHz package. That means the best-fit application is a LiftMaster-style opener, gate operator, commercial door operator, or receiver using the purple Learn button Security+ 315 MHz radio family. The 877MAX keypad has a wider programming range, but the remotes in this kit do not. When a customer is buying the pack so every item will work on the same operator, the system must match the 373LM remote technology.
This is a good package for replacing or adding access to older purple Learn button installations where a three-button remote is preferred. The three-button design can be useful when one user needs to control more than one compatible opener, gate operator, commercial door operator, or myQ light accessory where supported. It is not the right remote pack for yellow Security+ 2.0 openers, red/orange Security+ 390 MHz openers, green Billion Code openers, or fixed-code DIP switch gate receivers.
Included in This Pack
- 3 LiftMaster 373LM remote controls
- One LiftMaster 877MAX wireless keyless entry keypad
- Remote technology: Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button
- Bundle intended for matching access-control applications where all included devices are compatible with the operator or receiver
Compatible With
Compatibility on an access pack should be checked by the most restrictive item in the package. The 877MAX keypad covers multiple LiftMaster-style radio platforms, but the included remote or wall-control item may be much more specific. Use the lists below as a fitment guide and verify the opener label, Learn button color, receiver model, and existing accessory numbers before ordering.
373LM Remote Compatibility
- LiftMaster Security+ 315 MHz garage door openers, gate operators, and commercial door operators with a purple Learn button.
- Commonly associated Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Sears Craftsman, Raynor, AccessMaster, and Master Mechanic units using Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button radio technology.

- Select LiftMaster gate and commercial receivers that support Security+ 315 MHz remotes.
- This remote family does not cover orange/red 390 MHz Security+, green 390 MHz Billion Code, yellow Security+ 2.0, or fixed-code DIP switch receivers unless an appropriate universal receiver is installed.
877MAX Keypad Compatibility
- LiftMaster garage door openers manufactured since January 1993 when the opener has a compatible Learn button and required safety sensors.
- Chamberlain and Sears Craftsman openers built by Chamberlain that use the same supported radio families.

Bundle Compatibility Note
When this pack is being purchased for one opener or receiver, treat it as a Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button pack. The keypad may be able to program to other Learn button colors, but the 373LM remotes will not.

Technician Note
Do not sell this as a universal pack just because the 877MAX keypad supports multiple radio families. The 373LM remotes make the pack a Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button bundle. If the opener has a yellow, red/orange, or green Learn button, use a different remote family or a properly matched universal remote.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Match the existing remote number, keypad number, wall-control number, or receiver model whenever possible.
- Confirm the opener Learn button color and antenna wire color where applicable.
- Check whether the system is Billion Code 390 MHz, Security+ 390 MHz, Security+ 315 MHz, Security+ 2.0, or fixed-code DIP switch.
- For gate and commercial door operators, verify the external receiver model and radio board setup, not just the operator model.
- Confirm that required safety sensors and entrapment-protection devices are installed and working before adding new access controls.
Professional Advisory
Remote controls and keypads are low-voltage accessories, but they still interact with moving garage doors and gates. Do not add wireless controls to a system with unsafe door travel, damaged hardware, missing safety sensors, or unreliable reversing operation. For commercial doors, gates, or uncertain receiver wiring, have a qualified gate or garage door technician confirm the radio setup and safety-device operation before putting the system back into regular use.
Product Questions and Answers
What comes in the access pack?
This pack includes 3 LiftMaster 373LM 3-button Security+ 315 MHz remote controls and one 877MAX wireless keypad.
Will this pack work with a purple Learn button opener?
Yes, this is the intended application when the opener or receiver uses LiftMaster Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button technology. The 373LM remotes are the limiting item in the bundle.
Will the 373LM remote work with a yellow Learn button opener?
No. A yellow Learn button opener uses Security+ 2.0, while the 373LM remote is a Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button remote. The 877MAX keypad may support yellow Learn button programming, but the 373LM remotes do not.
Can the 877MAX keypad control more than one opener?
The keypad can be programmed for compatible systems, but the whole bundle should be selected around the opener technology used by the included remotes. For multiple openers, confirm each opener's Learn button color and radio family.
What should be checked before ordering this 315 MHz access pack?
Check that the opener or receiver uses Security+ 315 MHz purple Learn button technology, confirm the existing remote model, and verify that the keypad location has a clear wireless path to the opener or receiver.
