Liftmaster K15-41B17LKGH, OUTPUT SPROCKET
The LiftMaster K15-41B17LKGH is an output sprocket for select LiftMaster #41 chain gate operator drive systems. It is commonly referenced for CSL24 series slide gate operators and HCTDC overhead gate operators, depending on the parts diagram. The sprocket transfers power from the output side of the operator into the chain drive, so correct tooth count, bore, keyway, and chain pitch are critical. A worn output sprocket can cause rough movement, chain climbing, gate hesitation, or noisy cycling. Because several LiftMaster #41 sprockets are used across residential, light-commercial, and commercial operators, this part should not be chosen by appearance alone. Match the exact K15-41B17LKGH reference and verify the operator family before ordering.

Technician Note
If this sprocket is being replaced because the chain is jumping, check alignment and chain wear before installing the new part. A stretched chain or misaligned idler can quickly damage a new output sprocket.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the operator is CSL24, CSL24UL, CSL24V, CSL24VH, CSL24VDC, or HCTDC family where supported
- Match K15-41B17LKGH to the parts diagram
- Verify #41 chain size
- Check bore and keyway against the original sprocket
- Inspect chain, idlers, and gate movement for drag
Professional Advisory
Gate drive service should be performed with the operator powered down and the gate secured. If the gate has uncontrolled movement, damaged safety devices, or high-voltage issues, use a qualified technician.
Product Questions & Answers
Which models commonly use K15-41B17LKGH?
It is commonly referenced for LiftMaster CSL24UL, CSL24V, CSL24VH, CSL24VDC, and HCTDC-style operators when shown in the parts diagram.
Is this a #41 chain sprocket?
Yes. It is commonly described as an output sprocket for #41 chain applications.
Is it interchangeable with K15-41B16GKEH?
No. K15-41B16GKEH is typically tied to RSL12U / RSL12UL applications and should not be substituted without diagram confirmation.
What symptoms suggest output sprocket wear?
Chain noise, jumping, hooked sprocket teeth, rough gate movement, or chain riding high on the teeth are common signs.
Why does the parts diagram matter?
LiftMaster uses similar-looking #41 sprockets across different operators, but bore, keyway, tooth count, and model application can differ.
