LiftMaster K76-36681 Antenna Kit for PPWR and STAR1000 Receiver Applications
The LiftMaster K76-36681 antenna is a replacement antenna service part for select LiftMaster receiver and access-control applications, with the uploaded row identifying PPWR and STAR1000 use. Receiver antennas are easy to overlook, but a damaged or missing antenna can reduce radio range, cause inconsistent remote operation, or make a working remote appear weak. This part is used to restore the receiver antenna connection on supported LiftMaster receiver systems. It should be matched by receiver model, connector type, cable routing, and enclosure layout. Related LiftMaster antenna kit references are commonly associated with 850LM, 860LM, STAR1000, PPWR, 312HM, 412HM, 422LM, and 423LM receiver families, but the exact antenna kit and connection style should be confirmed before ordering.
Compatible With
This part is intended for the following LiftMaster applications when the model, suffix, and parts diagram confirm the same service part:
Common Replacement Reasons
- Remote range is much shorter than expected.
- Receiver works only when the remote is very close.
- Antenna wire is cut, missing, corroded, or damaged.
- Receiver was moved or serviced and the antenna connection needs replacement.

Technician Note
LiftMaster gate operator parts can vary by model generation, voltage, enclosure layout, and internal harness configuration. Match this part to the original component and the operator parts diagram before installation. Similar-looking reset switches, receptacles, limit parts, antennas, and alarm harnesses may not interchange across SL, RSL, RSW, CSW, LA, PPWR, or STAR1000 applications.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the manufacturer part number on the original part or service diagram.
- Check the operator model number and suffix on the equipment label.
- Compare mounting style, connector type, harness routing, voltage rating, and kit contents where applicable.
- For limit parts, confirm whether the operator needs a switch kit, passpoint kit, rack kit, or complete limit box assembly.
- For electrical parts, inspect the cause of failure before replacing the component.
Professional Advisory
Do not bypass monitored safety devices, alarms, interlocks, reset circuits, or factory protection features to keep a gate running. Disconnect power before servicing internal components. For high-voltage wiring, damaged control boxes, heavy slide gates, or operators that move unpredictably, have the system inspected by a qualified gate technician.
Important Ordering Warnings
- Do not rely on the product description alone when the operator has multiple generations or suffixes.
- Do not substitute a similar K76, K74, K23, K70, or K94 part number unless the parts diagram confirms the substitution.
- Limit-system repairs may require travel-limit setup and safety testing after installation.
- Receiver antenna repairs should also include a check of remote compatibility, receiver placement, and interference conditions.
Product Questions and Answers
What receivers are associated with the K76-36681 antenna?
The uploaded product row identifies PPWR and STAR1000. Related antenna references also appear around 850LM, 860LM, 312HM, 412HM, 422LM, and 423LM receiver families when the connection matches.
Will a new antenna fix every range problem?
No. Range can also be affected by receiver location, metal enclosures, electrical interference, weak remote batteries, programming issues, or a failing receiver.
Is this the same as a remote control?
No. This is an antenna service part for the receiver side of the system. It does not program credentials or replace a handheld transmitter.
Can this antenna be used with any LiftMaster receiver?
Do not assume universal fit. Receiver model, connector style, cable length, and enclosure routing should all be checked before ordering.
What should be checked before replacing the antenna?
Confirm the receiver model number, inspect the antenna connector, check for cut or pinched cable, and make sure the receiver is compatible with the remotes being used.
