Liftmaster K94-37461, ALARM AND HARNESS
The LiftMaster K94-37461 is a replacement alarm and harness assembly used on select LiftMaster commercial gate operators. In a vehicular gate operator, the audible alarm is not a decorative accessory; it is part of the operator warning and fault-notification system. It can alert users and technicians to movement, obstruction-related events, or control-board conditions depending on how the specific operator is designed.
This kit includes the alarm and wiring harness needed to reconnect the warning device to the compatible LiftMaster controller. It is commonly used on SL3000 Series commercial slide gate operators and CSW200 Series commercial swing gate operators. Correct fitment matters because LiftMaster uses different alarm assemblies, harness ends, mounting arrangements, and control-board inputs across operator families.

Technician Note
If an alarm has been disconnected because it was sounding during a fault, find and correct the actual cause. Replacing or silencing the alarm does not repair an entrapment input, obstruction condition, limit issue, or monitored safety problem.
Before Ordering
- Confirm whether the operator is SL3000, SL3000U, SL3000UL, CSW200, CSW200U, or CSW200UL.
- Compare the old alarm connector and mounting location.
- Inspect the harness for pinched, cut, or corroded wiring.
- Review the diagnostic code that caused the alarm to sound.
- Verify all warning signs and safety devices are present and functional.
Professional Advisory
Audible warning devices and fault alarms are safety-related components. Do not remove, bypass, or permanently silence the alarm to keep an operator running.
Important Ordering Warnings
- Not a universal siren for every LiftMaster gate operator.
- Similar alarm kits may use different harnesses or connectors.
- A sounding alarm usually points to a condition that needs troubleshooting.
- Do not operate an automatic gate with disabled safety or warning devices.
Product Questions and Answers
Which operators is K94-37461 commonly used with?
It is commonly listed for LiftMaster SL3000 Series commercial slide gate operators and CSW200 Series commercial swing gate operators, including U or UL versions when confirmed by the parts diagram.
Does this kit include the harness?
Yes. K94-37461 is sold as an alarm and harness assembly, and some listings also reference mounting hardware.
Can I use a generic siren instead?
A generic siren is not recommended. The correct LiftMaster assembly should match the operator wiring, connector, mounting, and control-board requirements.
Why is my gate alarm sounding?
The alarm may sound because of an obstruction event, entrapment input, safety-device issue, limit problem, or other operator fault. Read the diagnostic display before replacing parts.
Is it safe to disconnect the alarm?
No. The alarm should not be bypassed or disconnected to keep the gate operating. A qualified technician should correct the underlying problem and verify safe operation.
