Liftmaster K94-37468, RESET SWITCH KIT, WITH ID
The LiftMaster K94-37468 is a reset switch kit with ID for SL3000U commercial slide gate operator applications. It provides the replacement switch assembly used by the operator control system for manual reset after certain fault conditions. The ID portion is important because compatible LiftMaster control systems may expect the correct part identification or resistor arrangement to operate properly.
This kit is a model-specific service part, not a universal reset button. It is most commonly tied to SL3000U and SL3000UL commercial slide gate operator references. Correct fitment is important because other LiftMaster reset kits, such as those used on CSW200, SL585U, HCTDCU, LA, or heavy-duty HD operators, can have different mounting, harness, and ID requirements.
Compatible With
- LiftMaster SL3000U commercial slide gate operators
- LiftMaster SL3000UL commercial slide gate operators when the parts diagram lists K94-37468
- Select SL3000 Series commercial slide gate operators using the matching reset switch with ID
- Not intended for CSW200 swing gate operators unless the diagram specifically calls for this part
- Not a confirmed replacement for K94-37449, K94-37753, K94-37806, K71-33445, or K23-51158

Technician Note
If the SL3000U will not clear a fault, replace the reset switch only after confirming the stop circuit, monitored entrapment devices, limit status, and diagnostic code. A failed reset switch is one possible cause, not the only one.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the operator is an SL3000U or applicable SL3000UL configuration.
- Compare the existing reset switch kit to K94-37468.
- Check the ID harness or resistor portion before ordering.
- Inspect the control box opening and mounting style.
- Review the fault code that required reset before returning the gate to service.
Professional Advisory
For commercial slide gate operators, reset switch service should be paired with a safety inspection. Do not clear and ignore repeated faults.
Important Ordering Warnings
- This is not a universal LiftMaster reset switch.
- Do not confuse it with CSW200 or SL585U reset switch kits.
- The wrong ID switch may prevent proper reset function.
- Repeated reset events indicate a problem that needs diagnosis.
Product Questions and Answers
Which operator is K94-37468 for?
It is primarily listed for LiftMaster SL3000U commercial slide gate operators, with SL3000UL style references included only when confirmed by the parts diagram.
Is K94-37468 the same as K94-37449?
No. K94-37449 is tied to CSW200 reset button applications, while K94-37468 is an SL3000U reset switch kit with ID.
What does the ID portion mean?
The ID portion helps the compatible control system recognize the correct reset switch circuit. That is why matching the exact part number is important.
Can this fix an operator that keeps requiring resets?
It can repair a failed reset switch, but repeated reset events usually point to another issue such as an obstruction, monitored safety fault, limit problem, or control input problem.
Should the gate be used if the reset switch is bypassed?
No. Reset and safety-related circuits should not be bypassed. Have a qualified technician inspect and repair the operator.
