Liftmaster K99-CPR, COBRA PIVOT ROD & ECLIPS
The LiftMaster K99-CPR is a Cobra pivot rod and E-clips replacement kit for standard Cobra traffic spike systems. The pivot rod supports the movement of the teeth assembly and must hold the hardware in alignment as the system cycles under traffic loads. Worn rods, missing E-clips, or damaged retaining points can allow excess play, uneven tooth movement, or hardware loss inside the spike frame. This kit should be ordered by exact part number because Viper, Enforcer, Cobra, and King Cobra-style systems can use different pivot hardware even when the general function looks similar.
Compatible With
- Standard LiftMaster Cobra traffic spike systems that call for K99-CPR
- Cobra Series manual or automated traffic spike assemblies when the parts diagram confirms this rod
- Cobra traffic-control perimeter access systems using the matching pivot rod and E-clip layout
- Not for Viper systems that require K99-VPV

Technician Note
For K99-CPR, the safest match is the original part number and the specific LiftMaster traffic-control parts diagram. Do not rely on appearance alone, especially with Cobra, King Cobra, Stingray, Viper, and CR plate variations.
Before Ordering
- Match the original part number on the removed part or parts list
- Confirm the traffic spike family: Cobra, King Cobra, Stingray, Viper, Enforcer, or other LiftMaster system
- Check plate thickness, tooth count, CR designation, shaft length, bearing size, or sign type when applicable
- Inspect surrounding hardware for wear so the new part is not installed against damaged components
- Do not substitute a similar-looking part unless the manufacturer parts diagram supports it
Important Ordering Warnings
- Similar LiftMaster traffic spike parts may not be interchangeable
- CR, surface-mount, concealed, in-ground, and standard versions may use different hardware
- Traffic lanes should be blocked and secured before service
- Warning signs and safety instructions should remain visible and intact
Professional Advisory
Traffic spike systems can create severe tire damage and should be serviced only with the lane secured, the system locked out where applicable, and all warning signs and traffic-control procedures in place. Do not modify the system or remove required warning devices.
Product Questions & Answers
What is LiftMaster K99-CPR used for?
LiftMaster K99-CPR is used as a replacement Cobra pivot rod and E-clips kit for the compatible traffic-control system or perimeter access assembly listed for this part.
Is K99-CPR interchangeable with similar Cobra, King Cobra, Stingray, or Viper parts?
Not automatically. Traffic spike parts can look similar but differ by plate thickness, tooth count, lane style, shaft length, pivot hardware, or system family. Match the original part number and parts diagram.
When should this Cobra pivot rod and E-clips kit be replaced?
Replace it when the original part is bent, worn, missing, corroded, loose, cracked, seized, or no longer allows the traffic-control system to sit and operate correctly.
Does K99-CPR include all surrounding hardware?
Only assume the components named for this part are included. Reuse or order surrounding springs, brackets, anchors, rods, plates, bearings, clips, or sign hardware separately if the parts diagram shows them as separate items.
What should be checked before ordering K99-CPR?
Check the installed system family, original part number, plate thickness or shaft size when applicable, tooth count, CR or non-CR designation, and the LiftMaster parts diagram for the traffic-control unit.
