Liftmaster K99-MAG-LK, LINKAGE MAG ACCESS/PARKING PRO
The K99-MAG-LK linkage kit repairs the mechanical connection that transfers movement from the drive unit to the barrier arm on compatible Magnetic Access and Parking Pro style operators. In parking garages, toll lanes, commercial entries, and controlled lots, this linkage sees constant movement and load changes. Worn bushings, bent links, loose pivots, or incorrect geometry can cause arm bounce, incomplete travel, timing errors, or unnecessary stress on the drive system.
This is the standard linkage kit for non-in-ground configurations. It should be kept separate from K99-MAG-LK-IG, which is intended for in-ground or recessed geometry. Before ordering, confirm the Magnetic operator model, arm configuration, linkage style, and any breakaway or lane hardware used on the installation.

Technician Note
Traffic spike and barrier gate parts often look similar across product families, but small differences in thickness, linkage geometry, tooth section, chain pitch, or mounting pattern can prevent proper operation. Match the part number and installation type before ordering.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the exact manufacturer part number on the existing part or parts diagram.
- Verify the operator model, series, and surface-mount versus in-ground configuration.
- Compare dimensions, section length, plate thickness, linkage style, mounting holes, and related hardware.
- Inspect adjacent parts that may have caused the failure, such as sprockets, chains, pivots, teeth, shafts, bushings, or control wiring.
- Do not order by appearance alone; similar LiftMaster, Elite, Magnetic, Enforcer, and EZ traffic-control parts may not interchange.
Important Ordering Warnings
- This is a mechanical linkage kit, not a magnetic gate lock, receiver, or control board.
- Do not confuse this standard kit with K99-MAG-LK-IG for in-ground installations.
- Inspect the arm flange, pivots, bushings, and travel limits when replacing linkage hardware.
Professional Advisory
This is a specialty perimeter access replacement part. Work on powered traffic spike, barrier, or access-control equipment should be performed with the system locked out and with the correct manual available. Do not bypass safety, traffic-control, or warning devices to keep a system in service.
Product Questions & Answers
What does K99-MAG-LK replace?
It replaces the linkage hardware that connects the drive mechanism to the barrier arm on compatible Magnetic Access and Parking Pro operators.
Which operator families are commonly associated with it?
Common references include Magnetic Access Pro, Access Pro-H, Parking Pro, and Toll Pro style barrier operators.
Is this part for in-ground installations?
No. K99-MAG-LK is for the standard linkage configuration. In-ground versions commonly require K99-MAG-LK-IG.
What symptoms can indicate worn linkage?
Arm bounce, loose arm movement, incomplete open or close travel, clunking, and inconsistent barrier timing can point to linkage wear.
Is this the same as a LiftMaster maglock?
No. This is barrier arm linkage hardware and is not a magnetic lock or gate lock accessory.
