Liftmaster 041A5434-2, BELT KIT, 8'
The 041A5434-2 belt kit restores the main drive belt on select belt drive garage door opener rail assemblies used with 8 ft high doors. The belt carries the pulling load between the motor sprocket and trolley, so proper length and tooth engagement are critical. This part is often needed when the opener motor still runs but the trolley no longer moves the door, or when the belt has become noisy from wear or tooth damage. Because LiftMaster has multiple 8 ft belt kit numbers across different generations, the rail style and original part number should be compared before replacing it.
Common signs include belt slack, stripped belt teeth, belt dust, a disconnected trolley, jerky travel, or the motor turning without moving the door.

Technician Note
If an 8 ft belt has failed early, check the door balance and rail components. A heavy or binding garage door can overload the opener and damage the new belt.
