Liftmaster MA006, CHASSIS, MEGA ARM
The LiftMaster MA006 chassis is the structural base service part for Mega Arm style barrier gate operators. The chassis provides the mounting foundation for the operator drivetrain, control components, arm support hardware, and related assemblies. When the chassis is bent, cracked, corroded, or damaged by vehicle impact, the barrier arm can become misaligned, bind, strike the cover, or place uneven load on the gearbox and motor. MA006 is commonly associated with LiftMaster Mega Arm and Mega Arm Tower systems, including MADCBB, MATDCBB, and MASTDCBB references where the parts diagram confirms the chassis. Because this is a major structural part, it should be ordered only after confirming the exact operator model, cover style, arm hardware, and internal component layout. Reusing damaged brackets or misaligned drive parts can shorten the life of the replacement chassis.

Technician Note
If the old chassis was damaged by a vehicle impact, inspect the arm, cover, gearbox, pulley, belt, control board mounts, and conduit entry points before reusing parts on the new chassis.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the operator is in the Mega Arm family.
- Verify MA006 against the parts diagram.
- Check whether the listing is chassis only or includes additional hardware.
- Inspect reused drive and arm components for impact damage.
- Confirm mounting surface, anchors, and conduit entry before installation.
Important Ordering Warnings
- Not a complete barrier gate operator.
- Freight or special handling may apply because this is a large structural service part.
Professional Advisory
A barrier gate chassis replacement is a major repair. The operator should be powered down, the arm secured, and alignment checked by a qualified technician before the unit is returned to service.
Product Questions and Answers
Is MA006 a complete Mega Arm operator?
No. MA006 is the chassis service part, not a complete operator assembly.
What models commonly use MA006?
It is commonly associated with LiftMaster Mega Arm, MADCBB, MATDCBB, and MASTDCBB style barrier gate applications.
When would the chassis need replacement?
Vehicle impact, severe corrosion, cracked mounting areas, or structural misalignment can require chassis replacement.
Does the chassis include the cover and arm?
Do not assume that. MA006 is generally referenced as the chassis; included parts should be confirmed on the listing.
What should be inspected after impact damage?
Check the gearbox, arm hardware, pulleys, belt, cover, internal mounts, and anchors before reassembly.
