NICE Apollo 10055490 Pivot Bracket Kit for 416, 816 and 912L Actuators
The 10055490 pivot bracket kit is used to establish the physical mounting points for select NICE Apollo linear actuator swing gate openers. The pivot bracket supports the rear actuator mount at the post or column side, while the gate attach bracket connects the moving end of the actuator to the gate. Correct bracket placement is critical because the actuator stroke, opening angle, gate leverage, and mechanical stops all depend on the relationship between those two mounting points. This kit is useful for repairs where the old brackets are bent, corroded, cut off, or missing, and it is also used when a compatible actuator is being installed on a gate that does not already have usable Apollo mounting hardware.
This is a fitment-sensitive gate operator service part. Match the part number, operator family, control box style, hardware style, and installed system layout before ordering. Similar NICE Apollo parts may look close in photos but can differ by mounting hole pattern, actuator generation, board revision, safety monitoring requirement, or included hardware.
Compatible With
- NICE Apollo 416 linear actuators, when bracket geometry matches the installation
- NICE Apollo 816 linear actuators
- NICE Apollo 912L / TITAN 12L style actuator applications
- NICE Apollo 912L1 / TITAN 12L1 style actuator applications when the parts diagram calls for this bracket kit
- Single swing gate installations using compatible actuator hardware
- Dual swing gate installations using compatible actuator hardware on each leaf as required

Technician Note
- Do not weld the pivot bracket until the actuator geometry has been checked for the desired opening direction and gate angle.
- A bent bracket can cause actuator binding, uneven travel, motor strain, or limit setup problems.
- This kit does not include the actuator, control board, battery, receiver, or safety devices.
Before Ordering Checklist
- Confirm the actuator is a compatible 416, 816, 912L, or 912L1/TITAN style unit.
- Measure the gate and post geometry before welding or drilling.
- Confirm pull-to-open or push-to-open setup before placing the gate bracket.
- Inspect the gate hinges and stops before replacing actuator brackets.
- Verify the installed safety devices and gate travel after the bracket repair is complete.
Professional Advisory
Gate operators can involve stored force, moving gate hardware, low-voltage accessories, battery systems, and line-voltage power inside the control box. Do not bypass monitored safety devices or operate a gate with unsafe movement. For control-board replacement, electrical troubleshooting, welding, or unknown wiring conditions, use a qualified gate technician.
Product Questions & Answers
Which actuators are commonly associated with the 10055490 kit?
The kit is commonly listed for NICE Apollo 416, 816, and 912L actuator applications, with 912L1/TITAN use depending on the installed actuator and parts diagram.
Does this kit work for both single and dual swing gates?
Yes, the bracket style may be used in single or dual systems when the actuator model and installation geometry match. A dual gate may require hardware for each actuator.
Why is bracket placement so important?
Bracket placement controls actuator leverage and stroke. Wrong placement can reduce opening angle, cause binding, damage the actuator, or keep the gate from reaching its limits.
Is welding required?
The pivot bracket is commonly described as weld-on. Some installations may use other approved mounting methods only when supported by the installation instructions and gate structure.
Can this replace a bent gate bracket?
It can be used when the installed actuator and bracket geometry match, but the cause of the bent bracket should be corrected before the operator is returned to service.
