NICE / APOLLO A2003P, PLASTIC LIMIT BLOCK W/O SWITCH
The Nice Apollo A2003P is the plastic limit block used in the rear housing/internal limit assembly area of select Apollo linear actuators. It is a small but important positioning component that works around the magnetic limit switch and related limit hardware. This part is commonly replaced when the original plastic block is cracked, worn, missing, distorted from age, or damaged during limit assembly service. It does not include the proximity switch and should not be confused with a complete limit block and switch assembly. For accurate fitment, compare the existing rear housing assembly and use the Apollo parts diagram, especially on 416, 416X, 816, and 816X actuators.
Compatible With
- Apollo 416 swing gate actuators, when the installed actuator uses the matching internal limit/back-housing design
- Apollo 416X swing gate actuators, when confirmed by parts diagram and cable configuration
- Apollo 816 swing gate actuators, including many Apollo 1500, 1550, 1551, and related 816 actuator installations
- Apollo 816X swing gate actuators, when the original part number and rear housing layout match
- Nice Apollo linear actuator back-housing and internal limit tower service assemblies that call for this exact part number

- A2003P
- 2003P
- Apollo 2003P
- plastic limit block
- limit block - plastic
- block, plastic, no switch
- related but not the same as A2002 brass magnetic block

Technician Note
If the plastic block is broken, the actuator may also have a misaligned limit tower, seized adjustment hardware, or a damaged proximity switch. Check the whole rear limit assembly before closing the actuator housing.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the existing actuator uses the A2003P plastic block.
- Check whether the proximity switch is being reused or also needs replacement.
- Inspect the rear housing, seal, strain relief, and limit cap for water intrusion.
- Verify 416, 416X, 816, or 816X actuator configuration before ordering.
- Do not order this part if you need a complete switch-and-block assembly.
Professional Advisory
Gate operator parts should be installed with the operator powered down and the gate secured against movement. For electrical diagnosis, actuator disassembly, or unsafe gate movement, use a qualified gate technician. Do not bypass required safety devices or use this service part to defeat UL325 safety functions.
Important Ordering Warning
A2003P is the plastic block only. It does not include the A2004 proximity switch, A2002 brass magnetic block, rear housing, or limit cap.
Product Questions & Answers
Does A2003P include the proximity switch?
No. A2003P is the plastic block without the switch.
What actuator families is this part commonly associated with?
It is commonly associated with Apollo 416, 416X, 816, and 816X actuator back-housing/internal limit assemblies.
Can this fix an actuator that will not stop at the limit?
Only if the plastic block is the failed or damaged part. Limit problems can also come from the switch, magnets, adjustment hardware, wiring, or control board.
Is A2003P the same as A2002?
No. A2002 is the brass block with magnets. A2003P is the plastic block without a switch.
Should the rear housing seal be checked during replacement?
Yes. Water intrusion around the rear housing can damage limit parts and wiring, so the seal and strain relief should be inspected.
