NICE / APOLLO A2010, KIT - LIMIT CAP & SEAL FOR 816 ACTUATOR
The Nice Apollo A2010 is the limit cap and seal kit used on compatible Apollo 416 and 816 style swing gate actuators. This kit helps protect the rear limit assembly from dust, moisture, insects, and general outdoor debris. When the cap or seal is missing, cracked, loose, or aged, water can reach the internal limit switch and block assembly, causing corrosion, unreliable limits, or repeated actuator service calls. The A2010 is often replaced during rear housing work, proximity switch replacement, or limit tower repair because the sealing parts are disturbed during service. Match this kit to the actuator style and confirm whether the existing unit uses the newer push-in cap/seal arrangement.
Compatible With
- Apollo 416 actuators
- Apollo 416X actuators
- Apollo 816 actuators
- Apollo 816X actuators
- Apollo 1500, 1550, 1551, 1600, and 1650 systems when equipped with compatible 416/816 style actuators
- Rear housing service work that calls for A2010 or related limit cap and seal references

Technician Note
A new switch or limit block can fail early if the rear housing is not sealed properly. If the old cap was missing or water was inside the housing, inspect all limit wiring and hardware before closing the actuator.
Before Ordering
- Verify the actuator is a compatible 416, 416X, 816, or 816X unit.
- Confirm the installed cap style and rear housing condition.
- Inspect for water, rust, insect debris, or damaged wiring in the limit area.
- Replace or repair cracked rear housing parts if the cap will not seal correctly.
- After service, test the gate limits and check for smooth actuator operation.
Professional Advisory
Gate operator parts should be installed with the operator powered down and the gate secured against movement. For electrical diagnosis, actuator disassembly, or unsafe gate movement, use a qualified gate technician. Do not bypass required safety devices or use this service part to defeat UL325 safety functions.
Important Ordering Warning
A2010 protects the limit area, but it will not correct an already failed switch, corroded connector, cracked housing, or misadjusted limit assembly.
Product Questions & Answers
What is included with A2010?
A2010 is a limit cap and seal kit for compatible Apollo 416 and 816 style actuators.
Why is the cap and seal important?
It helps keep moisture and debris away from the internal limit switch and block assembly.
Does A2010 fit Apollo 816 actuators?
Yes, it is commonly listed for Apollo 816 and 816X actuators, and also for 416 and 416X actuators.
Is A2010 included with the rear housing kit?
It is commonly related to rear housing service, and some rear housing kits include sealing parts. Check the specific kit contents before ordering duplicates.
Can a bad seal cause limit problems?
