SES OPTHS24, HANDSET & CRADLE W/24" CABLE (FACTORY INSTALLED ONLY)
The SES OPTHS24 is a handset and cradle option with a 24 inch cable for compatible Select Engineered Systems telephone entry equipment. It is used when a hands-free style entry station is supplied or converted with a handset-style visitor/resident conversation point. The cable length matters because the cradle location, cabinet style, door swing, and internal audio harness routing can be different between SES units. The uploaded item is marked factory installed only, so it should be handled as a configuration option rather than a guaranteed field retrofit. Match the installed unit, front panel, audio harness, and required cable length before ordering.
Compatible With
- Compatible Select Engineered Systems telephone entry units configured for handset use
- SES CAT and TEC style hands-free-to-handset applications only when the installed model supports the option
- Factory-configured SES entry panels requiring the same cable length
- Not a universal handset for all intercoms, telephone entry systems, or access-control panels

Do not choose a handset by cable length alone. The entry panel must support the handset option and the harness must match the installed SES audio configuration.
Important Ordering Warning
Factory-installed-only wording means this may not be a simple field retrofit. Confirm SES availability and configuration before upload or special order.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the installed SES telephone entry model
- Verify the unit supports handset audio
- Match the required cable length to the cabinet layout
- Confirm whether the item must be ordered factory installed
- Check speaker, microphone, harness, and board condition before blaming the handset
Professional Advisory
Access-control repairs should be handled with the system powered down and with entry/exit operation tested after service. Do not bypass locks, relays, photo eyes, gate safety devices, or monitored safety circuits to make an entry system operate.
