SES RHRFSPANT433, ANTENNA 433MHZ RANGE EXTENDER
The SES RHRFSPANT433 is a 433 MHz antenna accessory for Select Pass receiver installations. In the field, receiver range problems are often caused by the receiver being mounted inside a steel gate operator cabinet, metal telephone entry enclosure, building utility room, or other RF-blocking location. An external antenna gives the installer a way to move the antenna point to a better position without replacing the receiver.
This part should be viewed as a range and signal-location accessory. It does not convert receiver frequency, change Wiegand output, add relay output, or make unrelated 433 MHz remotes compatible. The installed receiver and transmitter still need to be the correct SES Select Pass / Multi-Pass radio format.
The antenna is commonly associated with SES Select Pass receiver references including the stand-alone RHRFSP20 style receiver and the RHRFSPWV3 Wiegand receiver, where the receiver supports the optional external antenna connection.
Compatible With
- SES Select Pass 433 MHz receiver installations
- RHRFSP20 stand-alone relay receiver applications where external antenna support is used
- RHRFSPWV3 Wiegand receiver applications where external antenna support is used
- Select Pass and Multi-Pass transmitter systems needing improved receiver placement
- Gate operator cabinets, telephone entry enclosures, access-control cabinets, and metal housings where RF range is reduced
- Not a frequency converter and not a receiver by itself
- Not for HID, AWID, Linear MegaCode, LiftMaster, Genie, or other radio systems unless separately confirmed

Technician Note
Before replacing a receiver for poor range, check antenna placement. A receiver buried inside a metal cabinet may work poorly even when the transmitter and receiver are correct.
Before Ordering
- Confirm the receiver supports the RHRFSPANT433 antenna accessory.
- Confirm the system is a compatible SES 433 MHz Select Pass radio system.
- Mount the antenna away from heavy metal shielding when possible.
- Check coax routing and weather exposure.
- Do not expect the antenna to fix incorrect transmitter format or a failed receiver.
Professional Advisory
External antenna wiring should be routed so it is protected from water, sharp cabinet edges, and moving gate parts. If receiver range is still unreliable after antenna placement, inspect transmitter batteries, receiver power, radio interference, and cabinet location.
Product Questions
What does the RHRFSPANT433 do?
It provides an external 433 MHz antenna point for compatible SES Select Pass receivers to help improve transmitter reception.
Does it make non-SES transmitters work?
No. It only helps antenna placement. The transmitter and receiver format must already be compatible.
Which receivers is it commonly associated with?
It is commonly associated with SES Select Pass receivers such as RHRFSP20 and RHRFSPWV3 where the receiver supports an external antenna option.
When is an external antenna useful?
It is useful when the receiver is inside a metal cabinet, behind a masonry wall, in a gate operator housing, or in a location with weak remote range.
Is this a complete receiver?
No. This is an antenna accessory, not a receiver, decoder, relay module, or access-control panel.
