SES T1A2L125BSK, TEC1A 2 LINE DISP HF125 BASIC INCLUDES CLK
The SES T1A2L125BSK is a TEC1A 2-line hands-free telephone entry system from Select Engineered Systems. It is designed for controlled-entry properties that need a 125-capacity telephone entry unit with the TEC1A 2-line LCD display format and the Basic package configuration.
This model is commonly listed as the TEC1A 2 Line Display HF125 Basic Includes Clock. In the SES TEC1A Series, the T1A2L part of the model identifies the 2-line LCD display format, 125 identifies the phone/user capacity, and BSK identifies the Basic package level. SES lists the Basic TEC1A models as including clock/calendar.
The T1A2L125BSK is commonly used for apartments, small gated properties, private entrances, commercial entry points, parking access locations, and controlled lobby or pedestrian entrances where visitor calling, directory display, and relay-based gate or door release are needed. The TEC1A Series is separate from the TEC1 / T1HF series, TEC2 / T2HF series, TEC4 / T4HF series, and TEC10 / T10HF series, so the exact platform and model number should be verified before ordering.
This product should be treated as a telephone entry and access-control system, not as a gate opener, gate operator control board, card reader by itself, or safety device. It provides the visitor calling, directory display, programming, card-capacity database support where configured, and relay-command side of the system. The gate operator, door hardware, phone service, card readers, credentials, pedestal, power supply, mounting hardware, communication accessories, and field wiring must still be selected and verified separately.
What This Unit Does
The SES T1A2L125BSK allows visitors to use the entry station directory and keypad to locate or call a programmed resident, tenant, office, department, or authorized user. Once the call connects, the authorized person can speak with the visitor and release the gate or door using the programmed touch-tone command, depending on how the system is wired and configured.
The TEC1A platform is built for telephone entry with access-control capability. This 125-capacity Basic model is commonly listed with 125 phone capacity and 500 card capacity. That makes it useful for smaller to mid-size properties that need a telephone entry station with card database support, but do not need all of the upgraded features included with the Deluxe or Premium packages.
The Basic package includes clock/calendar, while the Deluxe and Premium packages add additional communication and expansion features. Do not assume this Basic model includes high-speed modem, MUI, serial port, NIC, or two-reader board unless the current supplier package specifically confirms those options.
Compatible With
The SES T1A2L125BSK is intended for select SES TEC1A Series telephone entry and access-control applications where a 2-line display, 125 phone capacity, and Basic package configuration are required. Compatibility depends on the exact system configuration, reader/card requirements, communication method, relay wiring, programming method, mounting style, power requirements, and optional access-control hardware used on the site.
- Select Engineered Systems TEC1A telephone entry applications
- TEC1A 2-line LCD display installations
- Applications requiring 125 phone/user capacity
- Applications requiring up to 500 card capacity where the proper readers, credentials, wiring, and programming are used
- TEC1A Basic package applications where clock/calendar is required
- Apartments, small condominiums, gated properties, and managed residential entrances
- Private entrances, commercial entrances, parking access points, and controlled lobby entrances
- Gate operators with a compatible dry-contact input for access commands
- Door strikes, magnetic locks, and access-control devices when properly interfaced through the correct relay and life-safety wiring
- Telephone-entry applications using compatible phone-line, VoIP/SIP, cellular, or approved communication equipment where properly configured
Do not assume that a T1A2L125BSK will directly replace every older SES, TEC1, TEC2, TEC4, TEC10, CAT, DoorKing, Linear, LiftMaster, Aiphone, or other telephone entry unit without checking the wiring, mounting, display style, relay setup, reader/card requirements, programming method, communication requirements, and package options. Match the exact model, capacity, display format, package level, and included features before ordering.

Important Ordering Warnings
- Confirm the exact part number: T1A2L125BSK should be matched by part number, not just by TEC1A 125 capacity. Similar TEC1A models may have different display styles and package options.
- Confirm the display format: T1A2L125BSK is the 2-line TEC1A version. If the site requires a 4-line display, review the T1A4L125 series instead.
- Confirm the package level: BSK is the Basic package. Do not confuse it with DLX Deluxe or PRM Premium models.
- Confirm included options: Basic models include clock/calendar, but should not be assumed to include modem, serial, MUI, NIC, two-reader board, cellular interface, or upgraded software unless confirmed by the current package.
- Confirm card access requirements: SES lists this model family with card capacity, but reader hardware, card format, credentials, wiring, and programming still need to be verified.
- Confirm communication method: Telephone entry systems may require a phone line, VoIP/SIP adapter, cellular interface, modem option, TCP/IP option, NIC option, line-sharing module, or other communication equipment depending on the site.
- This is not the gate operator: The T1A2L125BSK sends the access command. The gate operator or door-control device must be installed, wired, and operating correctly on its own.

Technician Note
The T1A2L125BSK is the 2-line Basic TEC1A 125-capacity model with clock/calendar included. It should not be blended with the older TEC1 T1HF125, the TEC2 T2HF125, or the TEC4/T10 models. The model number tells you the platform, display, capacity, and package level, so it is important to match the full part number before replacing an existing SES unit.
The BSK Basic package is not the same as the DLX Deluxe or PRM Premium package. If the site needs high-speed modem, MUI, serial port, NIC, two-reader board, cellular communication, or advanced remote programming, compare the Deluxe, Premium, or cellular TEC1A versions before ordering this Basic model.

Professional Advisory
Telephone entry and access-control installation requires proper low-voltage wiring, telephone or communication wiring, reader wiring, relay wiring, grounding, surge protection, programming, directory setup, card/credential management, and gate or door hardware coordination. A qualified access-control technician should handle the installation when the site includes card readers, remote programming, VoIP/SIP conversion, cellular conversion, TCP/IP programming, commercial door hardware, long outdoor cable runs, or an existing database transfer.
Do not connect telephone entry or access-control equipment in a way that bypasses gate safety devices, monitored entrapment protection, fire access requirements, emergency release requirements, or door life-safety hardware. The T1A2L125BSK should only command a properly installed gate operator or door-control device through the correct relay or input interface.
