SES TEC1A Deluxe Telephone Entry System Details
The SES T1A4L1000DLX is a Select Engineered Systems TEC1A Deluxe telephone entry system with a 4-line LCD directory display and 1000 phone capacity. It is designed for controlled entry applications where visitors call residents, tenants, employees, or authorized users from the entry panel, and access can be released through the system when properly connected to a compatible gate operator, door strike, magnetic lock, or access-control device.
This Deluxe configuration includes modem, clock/calendar, serial interface, and MUI multi-user interface features. That separates it from the Basic version, which does not include the same Deluxe communication package. The T1A4L1000DLX is a strong choice when the site needs the highest TEC1A 4-line Deluxe capacity, a larger directory display, and communication features for programming or multi-unit telephone entry layouts.
This model is commonly used for larger gated communities, apartment properties, condominium entries, commercial buildings, office campuses, parking facilities, and secured pedestrian or vehicle access locations. The 4-line LCD display gives the entry panel a larger directory viewing area than the 2-line T1A2L model family, which can help users browse names or directory codes more easily at the entry station.

Important Ordering Warnings
- Confirm the exact SES part number before ordering. T1A4L1000DLX identifies a TEC1A, 4-line LCD, 1000-capacity, Deluxe model.
- Do not confuse this model with T1A4L1000BSK, T1A4L1000PRM, T1A4L1000PRMCL, T1A2L1000DLX, or other similar TEC1A part numbers.
- Verify whether the site needs Basic, Deluxe, Premium, or cellular-equipped features. Deluxe models include more communication features than Basic models, but they are not the same as Premium models.

Technician Note
Match this unit by the full SES model number and feature package. T1A4L1000DLX identifies the TEC1A series, 4-line LCD display, 1000 phone capacity, 4000 card capacity, and Deluxe feature package. Similar TEC1A units may look alike from the front, but can differ by display type, capacity, modem support, serial support, MUI support, NIC/Ethernet capability, reader board support, cellular configuration, and included option boards.
Do not treat the Basic, Deluxe, Premium, and Premium Cellular versions as interchangeable without checking the job requirements. A site that depends on modem, serial, or MUI functionality may not be served correctly by a Basic model. A site that requires Ethernet/NIC or 2-reader board features may need a Premium configuration instead of Deluxe.

Professional Advisory
Telephone entry systems connect to access-control wiring, relay circuits, power, phone lines, communication interfaces, and sometimes card reader or software programming equipment. Improper wiring or incorrect configuration can damage the entry system, gate operator, lock hardware, or related access-control equipment. If the existing wiring, voltage, relay circuit, phone line, modem setup, serial wiring, MUI wiring, or programming requirements are uncertain, installation and replacement should be handled by a qualified gate or access-control technician.
This product is an access-control telephone entry system. It does not replace required monitored gate safety devices, photo eyes, edge sensors, entrapment protection, or other safety equipment required for an automatic gate system.
