SES TEC1A Telephone Entry System Details
The SES T1A4L50BSK is a Select Engineered Systems TEC1A Basic telephone entry system with a 4-line LCD directory display and 50 phone capacity. It is designed for controlled entry applications where visitors call authorized users from the entry panel, and access can be released through the telephone entry system when properly connected to a compatible gate operator, door strike, magnetic lock, or access-control device.
This model is part of the SES TEC1A telephone entry family and is commonly used for smaller gated communities, private entry gates, commercial buildings, office entry points, parking areas, and secured pedestrian or vehicle access locations. The 4-line LCD display gives the panel a larger directory viewing area than the 2-line T1A2L models, which can be helpful when users need easier directory browsing at the entry station.
The T1A4L50BSK is the Basic 4-line TEC1A configuration. It is a practical choice when the site needs a lower-capacity telephone entry system with a larger display, but does not need the additional communication and reader features found on Deluxe or Premium versions. The Basic model includes clock/calendar functionality and two standard Form C dry-contact relays for access-control output.

Technician Note
Match this unit by the full SES model number, not just by the TEC1A name. T1A4L50BSK identifies the TEC1A series, 4-line LCD display, 50 phone capacity, and Basic feature package. Similar TEC1A units may look alike from the outside but can differ by display type, directory capacity, reader capability, modem support, MUI support, Ethernet/NIC capability, and included option boards.
For replacement work, compare the existing units part number, display style, wiring, mounting method, power supply, relay usage, telephone line setup, and optional boards. If the site uses card readers, software programming, remote management, camera options, modem communication, or multiple telephone entry panels on one phone line, confirm whether the Basic model is correct or whether a Deluxe, Premium, or option-board configuration is required.
Before Ordering, Confirm
- The existing or required part number is T1A4L50BSK.

- The available power source matches the unit requirements.
- The relay outputs match the gate operator, door strike, magnetic lock, or access-control interface being controlled.
- Any card reader, software, modem, network, camera, or multi-unit interface requirements have been verified.
- The automatic gate system has proper monitored safety devices where required.
Professional Advisory
Telephone entry systems connect to access-control wiring, relay circuits, power, and often telephone or communication lines. Improper wiring can damage the entry system, gate operator, lock hardware, or related access-control equipment. If the existing wiring, voltage, relay circuit, phone line, reader wiring, or programming requirements are uncertain, installation and replacement should be handled by a qualified gate or access-control technician.
This product is an access-control telephone entry system. It does not replace required monitored gate safety devices, photo eyes, edge sensors, entrapment protection, or other safety equipment required for an automatic gate system.
